Allison is not the stereotypical piano teacher, her number one goal is to make learning music fun. She's wonderful with my son and is so patient she always finds a way to make it fun!
Melody is very patient and she individuates her lessons to suit her pupils' needs beautifully. Highly recommended.
I have known Rene' for 20 years. She was my daughter's piano teacher for 17 years and I have been taking lessons from her for the last 3 years. Her excellence lies in the fact that she is patient, calm and understanding. She will work with a student as long as they want to work on a piece. She generally lets the student learn when it is time to move on to another more advanced piece. She is always available for help on the phone and can easily schedule make-up lessons without getting flustered or upset. Her piano recitals are a joy and delight to attend. Her students range in age from 4 to, well, I'm 61. She is the best piano teacher I have ever had and I have had plenty.
Heather has been awesome with my daughter. I appreciate her patience and positive attitude. My daughter loves going to her lessons.
I took piano lessons from Janet Lynch for over ten years and I can easily say she is one of the best teachers I have had in any discipline. Not only did she teach me a wide assortment of piano songs and styles, but she also instructed me in theory, technique, and even music history. The skills I learned from Janet over the years have stuck with me too, and I continue to enjoy playing piano today. If you are thinking at all of taking piano lessons (or signing someone else up), I cannot recommend Janet Lynch enough--she's the best!
Michael James home studio has been the best music program my daughter has ever attended and as musically talented kid she has had many instructors. Mr. James has a true passion for his work and is also very versatile working with his students on a unique and personal level so that music lessons can be a joy as they should be instead of a burdensome task. Outstanding!!!
My daughter was struggling in math skills and after researching about how helpful music lessons can help in math, I started my daughter in piano lessons. Mrs. C is very helpful and encouraging. She always challenges my daughter to push beyond any difficulties. She takes the time to explain things so thoroughly and will never rush us out the door because our time is up. We've been through other teachers that are a bit stern and strict and my daughter immediately shuts down in that environment and will complain about going to lessons. We have never had the problem with Mrs. C. She teaches the kids to think outside the box and to use logic by making it fun.
I took piano lessons from Catherine for about a year, after not having played for 20 years. She was easily able to assess my skill level and come up with a curriculum for me. I had remembered some of the basics, but needed a lot of help with finger positioning and timing. Catherine is very patient and explains concepts in ways that are easy to understand. She could see that the lesson book I had been using wasnt working well for me, so she switched me to a different one. I learned so much in that brief time that I felt confident enough to play in front of people! I was the only adult student at the recital and it was a lot of fun. The kids clearly enjoyed working with her too and it was evident in their performances that she works well with kids of all ages. I highly recommend her!
Responded to me in a quick and professional way and made setting up lessons with them a breeze. We’re very informative and very pleasant to talk to.
My son has been with Sylvia since she first started teaching. She has helped him develop his musical talent by not only teaching him classic piano pieces, but by letting him pick music that he is interested in. By doing that, I find that he likes to practice more.
Randy is a pro. He is patient, knowledgable, and friendly. Would highly recommend him to anyone that is serious about taking their guitar playing to the next level.
Esther is an experienced pianist. I'm at level 3 and I had some major gaps in my music theory background. I've recently decided to continue piano lessons with Esther, especially with regards to learning music theory. She has been very helpful with all my theory questions and often tests me to solidify my understanding. I'm grateful to have Esther as a teacher. She's experienced, dedicated, patient, caring, encouraging, and helpful. She's able to teach contemporary as well as classical pieces. Recommend.
Janyce took me from a total chest singer to a mezzo-soprano. I went from singing in my car to singing on stage at church. Learning to sing the correct way is her forte; and after that you can focus in on your chosen style.
