Introduction: I was a professional athlete and made my living at it and I can't really understand how organizations present themselves as being expert when they have instructors trainers or whatever advising customers when they actually have limited experience in the field or have their expertise based on classes attended or diplomas acquired. Not being a professional not having actually worked in the field. Get out your dictionary and look up the words amateur or professional and take it from there. You know it's seeing people develop and grow especially their confidence- whether their male or female very young or adult You can see them develop, and grow right in front of you and it's amazing! They don't realize it but their acquiring and aura about themselves an invisible and intrinsic air or quality. People will notice that there is a change-something different about you but they won't understand why?

Coming back from my military service, the first thing I am craving for is a serious personal trainer. Tommy was my trainer before I left for Air Force and my first and the best choice to train me boxing now. His capability is from his own pro boxing career inside the ring. By instilling me with old-school type (IMHO, the authentic) perspectives of boxing techniques, he demonstrates the how and why behind every body position and every punch. A true boxer needs all around skill sets, which requires a good trainer to observe you and give you a lot of individual attention to make sure you are on the right learning curve. In his gym, I've seen couple of kids with boxing talents here, they started young and learn the correct boxing techniques from the beginning. It's worth every second to enjoy the quality training session with Tommy in his gym.

I started with Old Scholl Boxing about 9 months ago wanting to lose weight and get into shape. I was very impressed with the structure of Tommy’s program. I have always had a issue with my weight. I knew that it would not be easy and I needed to get mentally prepared and understand that this is a life style change and this will not happen overnight. Tommy not only coached me with my workouts, but also with how to eat better for a healthier lifestyle. With his encouragement and help, my blood pressure and cholesterol has gone down tremendously and I am sleeping much better. I am very conscience about what a eat and I am reading labels now. Tommy is a great trainer and teacher of boxing. He is very passionate about boxing and truly enjoys teaching. When I first started I was so out of shape but his constant encouragement made me want to continue on with my journey. I love how he mixes up the exercises which helps with the weight loss. I feel great and I am in the best shape that I have ever been in. I have learned so much from Tommy and I truly enjoy our workouts and his friendship. Thanks Tommy  LaToya Blakely

I have trained with Old School Boxing for three years. I continue to have a wonderful time learning the sweet science under the guidance of trainer Tommy Noel. He has taught me how to box like a professional, improved my conditioning, self confidence, and concentration. Tommy is smart, considerate, easy to work with, and a great motivator. I highly recommend training with Old School Boxing if you really want to learn the sport of boxing.

Before I met my coach I was getting beat up at many other gyms, after coming to train I'v learned sufficient techniques to protect myself. I frequently try out different gyms myself as well as my coach takes me to other gyms to spar and I realized my techniques were way superior, I'm not a naturally aggressive fighter myself but with coach's knowledge and skills I can manage to spar strong professional fighters without getting hurt and getting the experience to protect myself it is a steal for the price.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Each time you repeat something incorrect in your nutrition or your training, you are making the mistake more ingrained in your mind. So it is crucial to have the right programs before you start. But before you do, examine your teachers minutely. I invite you to examine everything about me and what I say. If anyone giving you advice is not a living example or what they say, reject them utterly.
