Chef Marcel was really helpful in negotiating a price within our budget, and the food was a huge plus at our event! Many of our guests complimented the food and several had gone on to say that they had never tasted such a well-marinated chicken. We couldn't have asked for a better caterer :)

Madkins Catering catered for East Los Angeles College bookstore Department. We were having a holiday meeting; Madkins Catering was punctual and the food arrived hot and ready to serve. The staff was very friendly and professional. Madkins Catering is very cost efficient and will try to work with your set budget. I had a set company budget and Madkins Catering was able to accommodate us. Besides the food being delicious we had a good amount left over as well. We have alot more events in the near future, there's no doubt who we'll be using for catering. Thank you Delores and Madkins Catering for making our holiday meeting that much more memorable.
I loved working with Susan Kowalski from Wild Thyme Catering. She was professional, helpful, positive, and personable. At the last minute, I decided to throw my husband a surprise birthday dinner for 8 people. I wanted to try something new and have a chef prepare dinner in our home. Susan was able to work with the short time frame and within our budget. She listened to what I said my husband would like and helped me put together a fabulous menu. The food was outstanding and exactly what we talked about. Everyone had a great meal and an awesome time. I definitely recommend Susan, and hope to have her back sometime in the near future.
In the past five years my husband and I have attended several fantastic entertainment and charitable fundraisers produce by The Mark Kearney Group. Our memorable highlights include The Jewel's of France in Beverly Hills for Juvenile Arthritis hosted by Teri Hatcher , MKG Emmy suite for breast cancer hosted by Adrienne Malouff, Project Angel Food hosted by Lisa Vanderpump. I hired Chef Mark and his fabulous catering company for our wedding this April in Newport Coast California. We absolutely adore his five star Pacific Rim cuisine. The catering crew was professional, kind and captivating. It truly made our Wedding Day special.
I have to qualify this review first by saying I have worked as a professional cook and have owned a catering business. So I have an eye for and know what works and what doesn't, what can be prepped beforehand without sacrificing quality, and what can be done on sight and off-site with the aim of making sure everything is properly expedited and comes out on time. When I arrived the table was set up nicely set up and decorated. However, we had previously informed Chef that we were going to be 13 and we would like two tables, as some people are uncomfortable with sitting at a table of 13 people. So we had to ask Chef to please separate the two tables. When Bridgette came the day before, my wife mentioned she wanted a table of 6 and one of 7, not two tables pushed together to make 13. There were also no cloth napkins, but paper napkins. I guess assuming that a request for "linens" did not include cloth napkins, only tablecloths. But I digress. Even though this was done in our home where we are well equipped, I still expect anyone coming to prepare food to come fully equipped to meet their needs without having to use the home equipment. This was not the case, as Chef used our Kitchenaid, tongs, and other items. As well, they did not have a serving platter for one of the hors'd'oeuvres. Furthermore, they had to use some of our silverware because they did not bring everything needed (spoons, forks). There were steak knives on the table when we were eating fish, and no other knives. I had no problem with this because, of course, I wanted the event to go smoothly. But other clients might not have been as flexible. Finally, they used all my kitchen towels and had them all wet, from I don't know what- but it's easy enough to bring your own hand towels. As well, because we used the plates on the table for hors'd'ouevres, they had to wash and prepare again for salad plates, as they had expected the hors'd'oeuvres to simply be finger food. Nonetheless, the hors'd'oeuvres-asparagus with prosciutto and chicken bites, or whatever they might have been-still require plates. This delayed serving. More forethought should have been given to how this was all going to go down. Personally, I would have brought the salad all prepped. Because it wasn't prepped, it meant a longer serving delay. The server didn't know the difference between wine and water glasses-some basic protocol needed. The food was excellent and I had several very positive compliments from the guests, this is where they shined, and it was served hot and fresh like it should be. We had a delicious shaved fennel salad with parmesan, and a main course of Blackened Sea Bass with a succotash and roasted potatoes. That is the beauty of preparing on-site. I say this with the caveat, as mentioned earlier, that a few things could have been prepped beforehand without sacrificing quality. This would have allowed the service to flow more quickly and not have such long delays between dishes. As Chef prepared the chocolate mousse on site, some people had to leave before dessert since it took well over 45 minutes between our main course and dessert. While we had agreed that I would supply the chocolate, it I had known it was going to take chef so long to prepare it, I would have suggested it be made beforehand. If I had done this lunch, I would have brought the mousse pre-made. They used up my whole bag of ice too-I would have brought ice. Finally, food left over was taken away and not left with us. I asked the server I f she was going to leave the food to me as she was walking out and she laughed uncomfortably and said no. My assumption is that the client paid for the food, they should get any leftovers. I give Kudos to the Chef for excellent food, but the service was uncomfortably slow and everyone noticed. Finally, the server was inexperienced. Overall, organization and attention to details were lacking. To end on a positive note, they did an excellent job leaving the kitchen just as the found it and were friendly and professional despite the hiccups mentioned. I didn't have to worry about anything. If you are looking for good food, Chef Mumsie does a great job. But please ask that they send you experienced servers, and make sure to point out every possible detail that you can think of, because in my experience, they did not have a checklist or form to check off what you do or don't need for an event.

We've hosted many parties and charity events at our home and have used a variety of small and corporate catering companies over the years. But of all of them, So Devine was truly "so divine!" The food was fresh, perfectly cooked and well presented. We also appreciated the service staff who were all professional, polite and helpful. We will definitely be using So Devine over and over again.
KMR Catering gave the SB Girl Scouts an amazing chuck wagon..pulled pork, cole slaw, corn, beans and rolls experience. We recvd a very large scholarship from KMR which is the largest most generous amount I have ever rcvd in all my years working for non profit. The food was tremendous, the presentation was impeccable and the caterer and chef came looking dapper and showed our volunteers how to serve. I am beyond grateful to Thumbtack for connecting me to Chef Keith Prante and his team at Hautè Productions Events and Catering to cater my mom's 80th birthday celebration. They are absolutely A-MAZING! Chef Prante was one of two chefs who responded to my request via Thumbtack, and I also received a personal referral. Neither of the other caterers offered ANYWHERE NEAR the quality, selections, variety and value that Hautè offered at my price point. We had our tasting today, and it absolutely sealed the deal! Everything was delicious and the presentation was outstanding. I highly recommend Hautè Productions to any potential customer who appreciates excellence, accommodation and genuine customer service.
Hiring Steven and his phenomenal crew was the best decision we could have made for our event! We were tremendously impressed by Steven's professionalism and flexibility to all of our requests, he is an incredibly smart and resourceful businessman and was able accommodate our many brand-standards (for a very attractive price) and wow our guests with the results. The food was simply delicious, the service was exceptional (very warm and affable) and the set up/breakdown was seamless even in our small half kitchen and office space! Words can not express how amazing Daily Square is. Daneen is such a talented Chef and a beautiful person as well. She catered my husbands 60th birthday party with 35 people. Her presentation of appetizers was so gorgeously delicious. And the evening was about good food and that's what you want at a party. Good food and good friends Her staff was an extension of her. Phenomenal. Her dishes are so unique that have a twist that makes you only want more. She is so professional with an amazing energy. I and all of my friends can't wait to have Dayneen back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our party a night we will never forget.

Do you know how pricey mobile bartending and catering vendors can be in LA? This company is a steal considering the amount of collaboration and quality of service your receive. Our Los Angeles location hired Estreno for a corporate event with about 250 people. They provided tables, linens, and all the food plus service at a great price. We will definitely be using them again as our CEO was very impressed.
