I've been using James at the Sea Store for over a year now. Overall James is very professional, honest and extremely customer friendly. He totally gets that to run a business you need to put the customer first. I inherited my 100 gallon salt water tank when I bought my house. I didn't know anything about it. James took the time to explain things to me. He also taught me how to do things on my own, I really appreciated that. James has come to my aid at the wee hours of the night to fix emergencies, uses top quality materials and always puts my needs first! He doesn't stop until you are totally satisfied. He also has access to fish and coral at cheaper rates than other retailers. I 100% endorse James and the Sea Store.
He had great knowledge, my problem turned out not to be electrical but a bad water heating unit! He has the ability to fix it, his responses were great and timely. Will use him some more! Has knowledge of construction which adds value to his recommendations.
Hired Jose to sand and refinish outdoor deck. He did a great job. He worked on it all day to make sure it was completely sanded down, cleaned and water sealed. Jose was reliable and was good at communicating with us. We would hire him back for other projects.
I had a couple sprinkler problems. Jake arrived right on time, quickly assessed the issue (turned out there was only one issue 👍🏻) and fixed it in the spot. Then he made sure the system was set to water on the schedule I wanted and he even adjusted some of the sprinklers that were over spraying. All for a very reasonable price. Plus, Jake's a super nice guy. If I ever need any kind of landscape maintenance in the future, I'll definitely use Dedicated Landscape Maintenance.
David and his co-worker did an excellent job repairing our lawn and replacing dead plants on our slope. He showed me why the plants on the hill were dying under our new water drip system. He even took the time to show me how to program our water controller to ensure it disperses at the correct time and day. I highly recommend using his landscaping services and I look forward to working with him in the future.
Removing all weeds & troubleshoot drip system. Work ethic & detail was terrific. I am very pleased with the total clean up, leaving no weed stumps behind to hurt my dogs paws - fabulous. The drip system now providing plenty of water to ALL plants/trees. John & his crew are great, they work tirelessly to completion. These guys know what they're doing. D. Young
Max was very informed and knowledgeable about our water wall feature. He replaced the pump, got it back in working order, and even replaced some of the pipes in the feature that will make repairs much easier and better in the future.
Antonio Padilla gave us a fair estimate that was affordable. He showed up on time. He was very polite, articulate & professional. He was knowledgeable and fixed all the leaky valves & connected the sprinklers to the timer. He made suggestions on how to improve our water usage & landscape our yard. We were very pleased & look forward to working with him in the future.
I am so happy to write this review for Tim. Tim was right on time and installed both replacement toilets as I requested quickly; and now my bathrooms look “brand new again.” What a great job he did! I was impressed with Tim’s willingness to go beyond and above what I was expecting. I had additional jobs that needed to be done but I was not sure if I could afford them today. I was not expecting Tim to offer to replace shower heads in both bathrooms after I mentioned not much water actually came out of the shower heads lately. He told me that I did need to replace the entire bathroom shower head fixtures but only a replacement part. He then offered to go buy the part at Home Depot, which he did, and returned and installed it. I could not believe the total price for all the work he did for me today. Needless to say, I will be hiring him again for additional handyman projects....painting and sprinkler repairs. Thank you, Tim.
Scott Nason is the only Handyman that I will ever use. He painted four rooms. He repaired my fence and low voltage landscape lighting. He fixed a bad case of dry rot in my exterior doors and exterior window frame and trim and fixed a major dry rot situation in my laundry room after installing a new water heater. He removed decades-old oil stains in my carport then refinished the concrete to match the exterior of my home. He put up extra shelving in my storage shed and laundry room. In a bathroom he removed and replaced tiles so the plumber could access the fixture that was being replaced and then put in a new sink and faucet, tiled the countertop in marble, slate and ascents, then put in a new mirror and lighting fixture. He fixed the oven fan. In the summer I plan to have him paint my exterior wood trim. He has a large number of before and after pictures and you should look at them. He is a perfectionist and is not satisfied until the finished look is perfect. I would be fine if the work looked just OK and not perfect. The cost of his repair of the dry rot in my doors and windows was much less than replacing the doors and windows.
We had need to replace a standard mailbox with a large, locking one and assemble a bookcase. Glen was punctual and got right to work. He was knowledgeable enough to know that the existing post for the mailbox would put the opening out of postal regulations, so he cut it down to avoid future problems. He then immediately set to work on assembling a pressboard bookcase we had in the garage for years. There was some water damage to the cardboard backing, but since we were not concerned about looks as much as function, he cut off the damaged portion and finished it lickety split.
We then did a quick walk-through to point out some issues in the house to see if they were in his skill set for future visits. Very pleased with the work. I have just recently sent him a notification for our next task for him.
I do what others don't, and that's detailed work.
I make sure all plants, flower beds, etc. are getting proper watering.
Also, I inspect watering systems for leaks. It's the work that most landscapers don't do.
