- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? These rates are on a pay-per-lesson basis: -30 minutes for $30 -45 minutes for $40 -60 minutes for $50 I also offer a multi-lesson discount, in which you pay for 4 lessons up front at the first lesson. These rates are: -30 minutes for $25 -45 minutes for $35 -60 minutes for $40 *When purchasing multiple lessons, you will never lose a lesson that you pay for. If for some reason you or I are not able to be at the lesson, we will simply reschedule it no matter the time you let me know. The sooner you let me know the better of course, but if anything comes up at anytime you will not lose what you paid for. **There my be a fee if I need to travel to you, depending on the exact time and location of the lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Each private lesson student is different, and I approach each new student that way. Everyone has different ideas of what they want to learn. I start by learning about individual goals, using this information to create an individual lesson plan in which the student learns important techniques and ear training, all while making the lessons fun and relevant to their personal goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started playing music in middle school, and continued throughout high school, college, and beyond. I worked and practiced hard to learning everything I could about music, including taking lessons from many top musicians in Los Angeles. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with my degree in Percussion Performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music. The program there was comprehensive, exposing me to music and instruments from around the world which I know get to share with my students.
