Alisa made everything I asked her to make and presented it beautifullly. She catered a High School graduation all night party held at the High School. She cooked the hot food for our diner on the premises. She had the appetizer platters premade and ready to go. She came early which I appreciated, and the food was made and served on time. I asked her to leave the leftovers for the kids and adult volunteers to graze on as the night went on and she did. We met at the school weeks before the event to coordinate where the cooking would be done. Also how and where things would be served. The quality of her work exceeded my expectations. I was personally nervous and wanted the diner I had set up for the kids to be perfect. Alisa helped make that happen. I would highly recommend Alisa as she was very detail oriented and did a magnificant job!
I hired Boris to provide my husband professional cooking classes as a Father's Day gift. Went very well, the food was amazing, and my husband couldn't be happier. Also we plan to hire him for future events. Strongly recommend him.
Zach was excellent! We had a total of 6 private cooking lessons over the course of 4 months. Each time he came to our house for a couple hours as we created a wide variety of my favorite dishes from local restaurants in Sonoma. He taught us ways to modify a meal so you could have more variety with the same dish by just changing a few spices or ingredients, what to look for to know you're on the right track or how to "save a dish" if you veer off, and different techniques that were really useful. I'd highly recommend him!
Chef Calhoun was my Instructor in Culinary School. I appreciated him for his honesty and his CONSTRUCTIVE Criticism. Being someone who only had an HR Administrative background who took a total different career path in culinary, Chef Calhoun really helped me to learn the tricks of the trade when it comes to this business. Chef is beyond gifted, knowledgeable and his resume speaks for itself!
I am always skeptical when referring someone to my close friends – the fear of my referral not performing as I’d promised. That said, chef Julie Tan gave such a great class that my friends not only wanted her to return to teach more classes but they have in turn – referred her to their friends. I am so honoured to know chef Tan on a personal basis – and to have learned so much from her. She answered all our questions and kept everyone involved – and at the same time, was attentive to our needs.
Our daughter wanted a cooking birthday party with a few close friends. Daun did a wonderful job working with them and the party was a hit.

I hired Chef Nicky for a personal cooking class in our home for my husband's birthday and we couldn't be more pleased. Spending one evening with Chef Nicky has changed how we will cook for the rest of our lives. I had one phone consultation with Nicky for him to get a sense what would make a good menu. He then sent a proposed menu and created a shopping list. He even offered to do the shopping and get the few ingredients I didn't know where to buy. We spent 3 hours cooking homemade pasta, scallop avocado salad, artichoke au gratin potatoes, brussels sprouts and marinated pork tenderloin. He shared his thoughtful approach to reasoning through a recipe and taught us so many practical cooking techniques. Everything we prepared was absolutely delicious and we will make it again on our own. Chef Nicky is a top notch professional and he created a thoughtful wonderful experience.
Six of us had a wonderful meal and evening with Dos Mamas. The in home cooking class was well organized with gourmet food made easy, and yummy. Nice part, I didn't even have to clean up! We want to do it again.
I hired Michelle to provide basic cooking classes for myself and my boyfriend. She made the experience very fun and taught us so many new, healthy cooking alternatives. We will be having her back to teach us how to BBQ!

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about raw foods, BUT Chef Tena *truly* changed my mind (and body). She has an innate talent, not only with recipe creation, and food preparation, but also with making food *beautiful.* I didn't have any real favorites, since they were ALL over-the-top delicious! Her foods make by body SING and feel ALIVE!
My husband and I felt we needed to diversify our culinary knowledge so we called on Chef Yves. The classes were great (we took 3 classes). Lessons were very informative, creative, and hands on, all in a friendly ambiance. Chef Yves showed us different ways to cook more efficiently. We also learned nice plate setting decoration ideas. Chef Yves' experience from many countries in Europe is definitely a plus and a huge benefit in the overall experience. We asked many questions about regional culinary traditions. Two years later, theyve founded Community Tap and Table, a hands on cooking class that hosts Classes for Beer Bellies with a Cooking Problem. Classes are held almost weekly and educate attendees on cooking with local, seasonal ingredients, and pairing their meal with craft American brews. Attendees learn knife skills, flavor profiles, cooking methods, and beer pairing. Proceeds from the classes benefit local non profits. Tap and Table is where the bar and the kitchen meet. Our vision is to elevate beer and food pairing from pub grub to a mainstream gourmet trend. We serve Sacramento, Stockton, and Lodi with gourmet, hands on cooking classes; supper clubs, beer dinners, and beer pairing expertise. Our fans describe us as their own private gastro pub. I have been a private chef, caterer and culinary educator in the Napa Valley for over 15 years. My clients include private guests of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys, wineries, and public agencies throughout the North Bay. Every event is personally designed with the guest, and their specific needs for their guests, and location. Each cooking class at Scuola Rustica in Sonoma is a light-hearted and relaxed event that includes a complete, lavish four or five-course dinner, with three or more vintage wines, while you learn new cooking skills. During class, Chef Michael Ghilarducci will demonstrate each new dish and discuss its origins and the techniques used to prepare it. A complete recipe book will also be provided with all the recipes. Dress comfortably, bring a pen or pencil, come hungry, and be ready to relax and have some fun! We do both demonstration and hands on classes. Hands-on classes are full-participation, although watching is fine too for those who just like to watch, eat, and drink! Tuition is $85 per class, per person. Most classes last about 3 hours. Watch the website for the latest class announcements. Chef Michael Ghilarducci teaches cooking classes on French, Spanish, and Italian cuisine. In the summertime, he also does outdoor classes on open-fire grill work and barbecue techniques. Since 2001, he has taken groups of cooking class students on food and wine tours to France and Italy. Beginning in 2006, Chef Ghilarducci has also taught cooking classes on Crystal Cruise Lines. In early 2008, Chef Michael Ghilarducci was joined at the restaurant by his son, Antonio Ghilarducci, as executive chef. Chef Antonio honed his skills at some of Northern Californias best restaurants including La Folie, The French Laundry, Redd, and El Dorado Kitchen.
D & I Special Care Services offers fun and healthy cooking classes for adults every Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Tuesdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Recipes which will be presented in class are eggplant tofu stir fries, lemon chicken with asparagus and D & I's specialty, fun burgers. Those dishes will be included in our 12-week fun group cooking classes.
