I was referred to Thumbtack.com (in 2015) because I was looking for a General Contractor to remodel and renovate the Kitchen in my rental property. I had no idea Thumbtack.com featured a myriad of professionals for multiple businesses and services. I never found the Contractor, but Thumbtack.com introduced me to Anita Ortiz (aka: Connie Ortiz), who I hired as my Certified Property Manager (CPM). When I met Connie, I was managing my own rental property and I was extremely overwhelmed. For the past 12 months, I have done absolutely nothing. Connie does it ALL! Her property management skills, knowledge, and experience are extraordinary. What I love about Connie is that she goes beyond the call of duty. She manages my property as if it is her own property. For instance, before putting my property on the market, Connie provided valuable information that helped me prepare my home to show to prospective tenants. As a result, Connie was able to find wonderful, qualified tenants within two days (48 hours) after she listed my property for lease. That was incredibly fast. Her marketing skills are amazing! Connie is an excellent Property Manager. She provides "easy-to-read" monthly statements; she deposits the lease monies in a timely manner; she conducts property inspections; and she keeps you abreast of required property maintenance. But, more significantly, Connie really takes good care of me and my tenants. She extends herself to ensure that ALL parties are content and I appreciate that. If my tenants have a need or request, I want a Property Manager who responds to them within a reasonable time frame. That's important! It's been a pleasure working with Connie this past year. She is truly a blessing in my life. If you are looking for a CPM who has your "best interest" at heart, I highly recommend Anita "Connie" Ortiz and her property management company. Icon Real Estate provides superb customer service and their client fees are reasonable.
