Arbor Tutors has the best program out there to prepare yourself for the MCAT. I'm very impressed with the quality and the education of the tutors. It's like everyone here has an Ivy League education.

Donny has been a client of mine for over 16 years. After knowing his amazing abilities with children of all ages and all of the achievements and awards for his outstanding teaching skills I new my daughter would be in the hands of only the best! My daughter was failing all three of her main subjects in 7th grade, math, science, and government economics. There was only 3 weeks left till semester was over and Donny was a life saver for my daughter Shayla. He not only gave her new ways to understand things but taught her how to learn and have fun while learning. He caught on right away that she struggled with focusing and he knew exactly what to do to keep her attention. I would not only recommend him for tutoring for your children but even adults! His knowledge will truly captivate you and his personality will keep you coming back for more! Keep up the hard work Donny, there are so many that need you out there!

Our family highly recommends Castle Rock Tutoring. Ann was very patient and helpful with our son. Our son was struggling with math and reading. I had been doing my best to help him out, but it was doing no good. During the middle of the school year we decided a tutor would be the best option for him to catch up. Caste Rock Tutoring worked out perfectly because our son was able to work with Ann at home where he felt comfortable. What I loved the most is that every minute of the hr was used. The session was never cut short because time had run out. If anything, sometimes the session would go a few minutes over. By the time I had my second parent teacher conference, the teacher had point out how much our son had improved in his problem areas. Let me tell you, he even got a certificate from the teacher for showing the most improvement. He isn't top of his class , but he is sure getting the material a lot better. I am very please with the tutoring, the patience and the care he received through Castle Rock Tutoring. Thank You !

My daughter was 2 years behind in math. She was receiving assistance at school but wasn't making any progress so I found AR. After three months of weekly sessions my daughters confidence has grown by leaps and bounds and homework is no longer a fight. "I'm too stupid for math!" has been replaced by "Look what I did!". I have recommended AR to multiple friends whose children also struggle with math or reading and recommend her to anyone who wants their child to improve in either reading, writing or math.

Mr. Barraza has been my teacher for a couple of years. I took guitar classes with him in high school. He is just outstanding in all the work he does. The dedication he would give me as well as every other student would go above and beyond expectation. He is a very intelligent, noble, and caring person. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, and his thirst for knowledge is insatiable, so whether you want to study music, Spanish, math, reading, writing etc. Mr. Barraza would a great choice for you, truly a great teacher for all ages.

Jody was able to help my daughter so much in math and reading. Pammy was not reading well at all! I liked that Jody uses phonics to teach reading. I know Pammy was not getting phonics in school and it showed in her reading skills. Pammy is reading with very good comprehension and fluency! I am so proud! Jody started Pammy at a level she knew very well. The difficulty slowly increased and now Pammy is above grade level and is taking advanced math classes. We strongly encourage parents to contact Jody about tutoring their children. You won't go wrong. I guarantee it!

I offer reading, writing, and test prep tutoring services to all ages. After graduating with honors from Lesley University with an M.Ed. in English Education, I worked for three years as an English teacher. During this time, I taught English 8, English 10, English 12, AP Language & Composition, Creative Writing, and SAT Reading & Writing. I also taught after school and weekend SAT Prep sessions. I am a licensed educator for English 8-12 in both Massachusetts and Texas. I also hold a supplementary license in special needs education in Texas. Additionally, I have experience working with both special needs students and English language learners. I left teaching when my husband's job moved us to Colorado and we decided to have a baby. I've been working as a freelance writer and editor for over a year. However, I miss working with students and am looking to expand my services into tutoring.

I am a college student currently attending the University of Denver. I am majoring in psychology and communications with a minor in Spanish, and I run and coordinate a volunteer tutoring program at my school. I have experience tutoring children in all academic subjects, from ages 5-13, and I can tutor older students in beginning and intermediate Spanish in reading, grammar, writing, and conversational speaking. Since I am not a licensed tutor, I am very affordable and willing to work with varying financial situations. Most of all, I am very patient, caring, and efficient!

I'm a classroom-experienced English teacher/tutor who offers writing and reading skill development. I'm an experienced technical and academic writing editor.

I have an elementary education degree with an ESL endorsement. I spent time tutoring children all throughout my college career, and this is what I am passionate about. I enjoy working with students one-on-one and building a relationship with them as well!

I tutor elementary students in all subject areas. I have an MA in Language Arts, and I have training in multisensory, which is a great intervention for kids struggling in all subject areas, but especially in reading, writing, and spelling. I have 26 years of classroom experience, and I have tutored off and on for 2 years. I have been the teacher with whom most of the kids with some sort of disability have been put into my room because I work well with them, and I know how to meet their needs. I have recently retired from the classroom, but I am looking forward to tutoring elementary students.

I have been a professional tutor for the last 2 years and have helped students achieve their goals in all levels of math, reading, and writing. From teaching 4th-6th grades to serving as a senior outdoor education instructor, I have held many roles in education. I currently hold a professional license to teach in the state of Colorado and am a certified Calming Kids Yoga instructor. I also helped revamp the curriculum for the National Youth Leadership Training Institute with the Boy Scouts of America. I have experience with Everyday Math, Singapore Math, Every Child a Reader, DIBBELS, Readers and Writers Workshop, and other elementary programs. Clients can expect my tutoring sessions to be targeted to the individual needs of my students. We will use a variety of mediums to meet the needs of the student. I believe that communication is critical between teachers, tutors, and families to help maximize our time together. I typically meet families in their home for 1-2 times per week. Having a professional teaching license, I am quite familiar with the goals and objectives of an elementary curriculum and seek to connect students in engaging ways with the material. I believe that hands-on education helps provide opportunities for all students to critically analyze our world. One such example of capitalizing on little loved resources came when I tutored a lesson on the rock cycle to a small group of students. Out of the box, I deliberately selected the worn down, wrapper-less, seemingly uninspiring crayons that most students would throw away in an effort to be creative. These brave little volunteers would serve as my test subjects. Slowly, I cut the crayon bits into small chunks. One could feel the excitement in my room! After taking turns pounding on the tin foil to represent pressures within the Earth, we exposed the crayons to heat via a dumpster dived candle and reused piece of tin foil leftover from our mystery meat camp dinner. My students synthesized their own theories before we compared what actual Stem scientists had concluded. And, best of all, this lesson used recycled materials!
