FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There's nothing complicated basically time and materials.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep up with the residential electronic stuff pretty well. You know the home theatre audio/video stuff. I really enjoy this type of work because no two projects are ever alike.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I graduated with a degree in electronics in 1986. I worked all kinds of construction jobs to pay for that education. And then I hired on with a national retail company and was able to apply my education as well as my past work experience in the opening of new locations as well as remodeling their existing locations. I liked the job so well that I stayed with that company for over 25 years. I rose up thru the ranks to become a national supervisor for them and ran their in house construction crews for many years. As well as hiring and over seeing the work of all of the local contractors that were needed in the different cities. We took care of more than 80 locations nation wide, from here in Denver. All the plumbing, electrical and building and grounds maintenance. Obviously I had a couple good assistants.
