We succeed with all categories and have been endorsed by all categories. Dennis Murray has been very blessed in his life to be allowed to make a living at a game he loves, both as a tournament player and golf coach. Its great being outdoors interacting with people and helping them enjoy the game of golf by helping them to play a better game of golf. Great athletes in other sports often take up the game of golf, many have chosen Coach Murray's help, such as Peter Forsberg, Hall of Fame NHL Hockey Player in photo on cover page. Golf courses are the most beautiful places in the world and having one for an office is wonderful.

I am a novice golfer and fairly unathletic in general. Dennis and his method of teaching enabled me to develop a swing, make contact with the ball, and be on the course playing fairly rapidly. My husband has been playing for years and he felt he improved with the few lessons he took from Dennis. We both will be going back for some "fresh-up" sessions this spring. This will be the third year in a row for me. I was recently approached by a different golf pro at the driving range who asked me if I was taking any lessons and did I want any. I told him I was learning from Dennis and he said Dennis was one of the best and I couldn't do any better then him. That was reference enough for me, although I didn't need any more convincing.

Within a month of picking up a club for the first time, I sought out a coach who could teach me the correct fundamentals of the game of golf. With the help of Dennis Murray, I went from being new to the game of golf to a very accomplished golfer in just over two years. Coach Murray taught me everything I know about golf, including course management and course etiquette. He is so passionate about the game, and about his students that the excitement is infectious. He connects well with his students, having a good understanding on how to relate to them and really help them. I was recently awarded the Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour Sportsmanship award, and have won several state and regional tournaments. Last year in high school, I was league MVP, and 1st Team All Conference. My dreams have been realized as I have been recruited to play D1 college golf, which never would have been possible without Dennis Murray, and his Uncomplicated Golf Instruction.

Dennis' approach to teaching is so refreshing. He invests time "off the clock" learning how his students learn best. He then can adjust his teaching / coaching style to benefit each student's ability to comprehend and retain the subject matter. I attended a two day golf school intimately designed for low single digit handicappers, meaning Dennis limited it to four students max. We spent 4 hours each morning working rigorously on our short game drills for putting, chipping, pitching, and sand bunker play. The afternoons we played 18 holes with Dennis as he honed our skills in the art of scoring. Dennis left us with a clearer understanding of our individual games, a new found ability to be our own coaches, and a NEW confidence in our own abilities.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first golf lesson with Coach Murray includes a free consultation and learning style assessment that takes 20-30 minutes. Our unique fee structure provides non-member students with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at VCC to enjoy for 90 minutes for a rate of $85. A 90 minute session includes time to warm up on the practice ground, 30-35 minutes with Coach Murray and an additional 30-35 minutes practicing specific routines to develop muscle memory. This system is user-friendly and appreciated by our students.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Complimentary consultation session with student to discuss golf game, goals and road map to achieving them. Skills assessment and learning style interview. (20-30 mins.) 2. Student warm-up (10-15 mins.) 3. Coaching session (30/45/60 mins.)* 4. Practice session (15-30 mins.) *Coaching time dictated by student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PGA of America CPP2.0 Certification Program for Teaching and Coaching has been completed recently. Dennis Murray is now recognized as one of the top 1% of Teaching Professionals in America that have become Certified in Teaching and Coaching by the PGA of America's Education Department.
