Great food! Kim was very flexible in working with us to create a menu that would pair perfectly with our KY Derby event. People literally could not stop talking about how delicious the bourbon-glazed meatballs were! Also, easy to work with and very communicative about how to keep the food fresh and at its best for when the guests arrived (our event was a drop-off catering event). Would definitely use again for another event!
The Turkish food prepared by Tom was delicious and loved by our 20 guests. Tom also was very informative and interacted very well with all our party participants.

I found Nancy on Thumbtack a few days before our event, after our caterer stopped returning our phone calls. Nancy was very easy to work with, very prompt in response times and flexible in what we were looking for. It was a HUGE relief finding Nancy so close to the event! On the day of the event her staff showed up on time, (again) were flexible with what we were looking for and they had GREAT attitudes. The food was fantastic, and we were more than happy to give out our caterers information to anyone who asked. I would highly recommend Sparrow Kitchen to anyone looking for a professional, delicious, and easy to work with caterer.
Karen is not only an incredible florist, she is also an experienced Wedding/Event Coordinator. She knows everything that goes into an event, and she's prepared for anything. She listened carefully to our daughter's vision and made it come to life. (Our daughter has NO knowledge of flowers...just knew the look she wanted.) Karen made the BIG DAY completely easy for us.

Marc is a consummate professional. He worked extensively with me to nail down every detail of the event beforehand so that everything ran as smoothly as possible. He had excellent suggestions for drinks and supplies. He even showed up an hour early to help move things when the weather turned sour, without me asking.

I cannot recommend Britainy enough. She was extremely professional, had great advice, kept my wedding moving in the right direction, consistently available, and she did it all while pregnant. She helped to coordinate my vendors, took tips to dispense, and helped to keep track of invoices. If you are looking for an event planner, I would suggest hiring Britainy immediately! She was by far the best decision I made for my wedding and we would have been lost without her!
Events by LaTasha created an stunning and memorable holiday party for my guests and I. During the consultation, I provided LaTasha with a few details of how I envisioned the evening would look. LaTasha listened carefully, and far exceeded my expectations in every category. She was very hands on, throughout the entire process, I didn't have to worry about a thing. She even had an extra surprise for my guest and I, by having an amazing vocalist to get us all in the holiday spirit. My guests raved about the party days later. Spencer has catered 2 parties in our home. One a smaller meal for 12, and then a party for 50. He is super easy to work with, had great ideas for menu planning and dishes and the food was fabulous. Plus we had some gluten and dairy restrictions and he was able to easily accommodate that. We got so many compliments. We consider him now our default caterer and will call him for any future events.
By coincidence, I just happened to have attended 2 parties coordinated by In The Event and Elyse Boule. Both parties were PHENOMENAL! What made them so special? The attention to detail with the planning, the food, the drinks, the decor, the entertainment and the overall vibe. Elyse truly has a knack for understanding what the client loves, what they don't love, and how to make it a memorable experience. The first party was an outdoor graduation party at a private residence (~60 people); the second was an indoor Kentucky Derby Party at a private residence (~30 people). First, the person being honored at the outdoor graduation party loves Cajun food so Elyse arranged for a New Orleans Food Truck to serve up New Orleans cuisine for all the guests right on location (absolutely delicious AND smart - no kitchen clean-up for the host!). She worked with the food truck to design a menu that was adult and kid-friendly. She obtained all the necessary permits for a food truck to stay parked in the neighborhood. She hired a bartender who specializes in making southern-style cocktails (also delicious and smart - no one had to serve themselves). Not only did she arrange the food truck and bartender, she also found a New Orleans-style jazz band to provide entertainment for all the guests. It was a blast! I truly felt like I was on Bourbon Street that night! She mastered the New Orleans theme, just what the client wanted. It was perfect, despite a freak rain storm. Of course, she planned for that too and had already had a tent and heaters out. I did not expect this at a house party. I was expecting a sandwich tray-white sheet cake and balloons graduation party snooze-fest. NOT A CHANCE! Everyone had a blast, no one batted an eye despite the short burst of bad weather and all the guests, including the band, kept on rockin'. The second party was a Kentucky Derby party (indoor). She coordinated a "Best Derby Hat" contest for the ladies and kids, and provided cute prizes for the winners. The food was all Kentucky-inspired, as were the drinks. Each drink glass (in mason jars - perfect!) were labeled with a horse's number so that drinks wouldn't get mixed up. Similar to the first party I attended, it was so clear that this girl pays close attention to the clients' needs/wants and her attention to detail is impeccable. (I hear that she will be planning a wedding for a client soon, and I want to go just for the party even thought I don't know the bride and groom.) There is no doubt in my mind who I will use when I throw my next party, whether it's big or small. I am so glad I found her - you will too!!! Thank you In The Event and Elyse!!! For more than a year I started thinking on throwing my daughter a Sweet 16 party. As a busy working mom with only experience on little kid's birthday parties I knew I needed the help of a professional. I checked some companies, read reviews but none of them seemed to be what I was looking for, until one day, beginning of this past spring, I found Good Ol'-Fashioned Party and I checked the website, pictures and I knew she could put the party together the way my daughter wanted it. Not only Heather capture the idea when we first met with her but also helped us to create a plan to get all the main pieces together in such short time (less than 4 months). She helped us finding venue, catering, decorations. She was always on point, she advised us, she supported us and guide us when we started getting out of track. Heather is a real professional, down to earth, supportive, creative, incredible helpful, she helped us on last minute projects that I could not take care of myself and she did an amazing job. The party ran very nice and Heather and team were on top of the details, they were always around with a smile and great attitude. They knew all the logistics that most of the time we as guests do not pay attention but make things run nice and smooth. The venue we chose for the party it's really beautiful but with Heather and Cassie's touch the place really was transformed to an amazing elegant reception. Kids had a lot of fun, parents and families had a blast. I can't thank her enough for everything she did to make this dream come true for my daughter and I will be always grateful for everything she did for us before and at the party. She not only can create a beautiful wedding party but also a big special occasion event!! I recommend her service without any hesitation and I plan to use her services in the future and refer her to my friends and family.
Michael and his wife a great accommodation to our group of people. This was a house party for a 60th birthday and it a gangster theme event. We had a variety of costumes from the 1920's to 1950's. DJ Michael had a different music for each session and listened to our requests for each of them. Thanks again for a great time.
