I found Edward to be a great listener and very talented musician. His interest in music is somewhat similar to mine. We always have great conversations about many diverse subjects. I would fully recommend Edward Baker for guitar and music lessons. First met while he was setting up a pretty cool guitar dealership. Like I said check him out.
Phil has become part of our family. He has taught my son guitar for four+ years. He has taken him from a beginner to playing lead guitar for the Cheyenne Mountain High School Jazz band. We love Phil!!
I've been wanting to start guitar lessons for awhile but it's always seemed so daunting. Jason took all the pain out of finding an instructor. He set me up with a great teacher and pointed me towards a custom lesson package for beginners. I'm on my second lesson with Gene and couldn't be happier. Thanks Reverb Lessons!
I am so lucky to have found Rick. I not only am learning songs, he is also teaching me the theory of music and how chords are formed. I am new to guitar, had my second lesson and can figure out most chords. He teaches the direction I'm interested in. I can't wait to see what he teaches me next. I have coworkers that have been playing the guitar for a long while and I already know more about notes, cordes and theory than they do. Now I just need to practice, practice, practice to be able to play as well as they do. And some day, I hope to be better. With Rick, I believe I will be, in time.
Michael played two corporate events in late November 2014. He was perfect for both events. We welcomed guests in a design studio and Michael played acoustic guitar. He really read the crowd and responded to their vibe and the vibe of the event. All our guest had a great time and I thank Michael for providing the lovely tunes in a non-traditional music environment!
Absolutely brilliant guitar teacher--I'd recommend Ross to anyone! I took my two kids (9 and 11) for beginning guitar lessons from Ross. Starting on day one, I saw that Ross approached kids lessons differently than any other teacher, focusing on a solid musical foundation and lasting enjoyment. He never pressured my kids, established a sensible practice schedule, and made each lesson fun. They're learning basic music theory that will apply to any instrument, and will last a lifetime. After watching Ross teach my kids for several months, I was so impressed with his method that I decided to take a few lessons myself--primarily to better master the fretboard, as well as learn enough theory to play lead guitar. Although I've taken lessons over the years, Ross has transformed by playing in a simple, logical, and easy-to-follow manner. I've really mastered the fretboard, while learning fingering techniques to improve speed and accuracy. Ross's approach to guitar (theory, technique, practice routine, etc) is fundamentally superior to other instructors, and I eagerly await his first guitar instruction book. Bottom line: Whether children or adult, popular or classical guitar, heavy theory or simply learning a few guitar licks, Ross Trottier is an exceptional instructor. We're lucky to have him in Colorado Springs!
I’ve been taking guitar lessons with Nicholas Keith for a few weeks now. He is such a great instructor, very nice, and is very patient with newbies like me! I highly recommend him for anyone looking to take guitar lessons in the Denver area!
Awesome teacher. Very knowledgeable in music theory. Also very good at giving feedback and practice exercises that actually helped me become better at guitar.
Taking guitar lessons with Andrew has been an awesome experience for me. I started studying with Andrew a few months ago with the hopes of learning jazz guitar, a style that was completely new to me at the time. Since then I have improved exponentially in my playing and understanding of the necessary theory as well as my appreciation for jazz music. Andrew is a great, enthusiastic teacher and his lessons are always well structured and informative. Also, Andrew is just a hub of knowledge. I feel like I learn more from him in an hour than I do during weeks of practicing at home. If you're looking for a guitar teacher, I highly recommend him!
Gary is an outstanding guitar instructor! He is very knowledgable and thorough in his approach. Most importantly to me, he is patient. I had never played a guitar until I began taking lessons with Gary. Although his guitar skills are incredible, he tailors each lesson to best fit my skill level. I highly recommend him!
I am writing to recommend Neil Zimmerman for guitar lessons. I have found Neil to be very committed in helping me become a better guitar player. Neil always brings an upbeat, caring and patient attitude to each lesson. In the few short months I have been working with Neil, my knowledge of alternate fingering of chords and picking techniques have increased tremendously. Neil really takes the time to assess your current guitar playing skills and then uses that information to customize his teaching approach to each artist (student). No matter what your skill level is, Neil can quickly assess your ability and get you on a path of improvement. Neil is also very flexible and accommodating when it comes to scheduling lesson times (yet another plus). I highly recommend Neil for guitar lessons. Whether you are a seasoned, accomplished player or a beginner, Neil is your man! - Clint Hann
Forrest is an awesome teacher! Our 5 year old son, Ben, had been asking for a guitar and lessons for a year. We were fortunate to find Forrest. He is very talented, professional, patient, and fun. Ben looks forward to his lessons every week and he is learning so much. Thank you, Forrest!!
Rick Green does everthing to include walk on water!!Excellent guitarist!! Excellent instructor!!
I have a knack for seeing solutions. I started singing in a club when I was in my teens, and had to learn from the ground up. Like most singers, I have natural potential, but potential has to be worked with to become talent. Without constantly seeking out better ways to sing, I would never have gotten to where I am. The same is true for everyone.
