Felipe Borges replaced our water damaged kitchen wood floors with tile. He designed a seamless custom transition from the new tile in the kitchen to the hardwood that wasn't damaged in the hall. We were able to keep our custom wood floor registers (saving a lot of money) because Felipe made sure they fit flush with the new tile. Felipe is a meticulous craftsman who is also creative and artistic. We had an A+ experience with Borges Flooring!

We are so glad we chose Felipe to work on our basement remodel. We hired him to do our bathroom tiling and LVP flooring, and after seeing his impeccable work, hired him to do the baseboards and trim as well. Felipe is a hard worker and true artist. We had already chosen handmade wall tiles and large-format floor tiles, which other contractors said would be hard to work with. Felipe did an excellent job bringing our vision of a spa bathroom to life, as well as installing flooring and baseboards in a large and uneven space. He was communicative, punctual, and flexible throughout the entire project, and graciously came back to fix some areas of the LVP that weren’t laying correctly (due to the uneven foundation). We are already looking for the next project we can hire Felipe for!

Felipe did an excellent job installing LVP Coretec in our downstairs room. He responded to all my questions quickly and professionally. I particularly appreciated his detailed estimate that fully explained everything. Felipe completed the job quickly and we are very pleased with the quality of his work.

Great experience! This is saying a lot coming from someone who has had her entire house renovated, and dealt with the good, the bad, and the ugly in terms of workers. Felipe was flexible with his schedule, responded promptly, and did a great job tiling our bathroom. I also really appreciated that he told us that he may need to do extra work to make our floor perfectly flat, which showed me that he truly cared about his work and was detail oriented. He even came back to our house all the way from the Springs to fix one tile that I wanted replaced. Would happily use him again!

We had the old laminate replaced with vinyl plank and he switched out the valves and water fixtures as well. The flooring looks great, the pieces were cut and fit well. However, there were some issues with the job. After the toilet was installed, I realized there was water polling near the base and called him. Felipe did promptly come back to fix that. The original floor was very uneven which I had explained and he said he would use floor leveler / patch to resolve that prior to installing, but once vinyl was installed there was a large 4x2 section of a hollow spot. He bought a fix patch and did come and fix it, but I think more time should have been spent leveling out prior to installing floor to mitigate this. Overall, I feel they made some mistakes but the pricing was very fair and they did fix everything that had issues. Edit: Update on review. The subfloor was extremely difficult to work with, I would have spent more money on the project if more time could have been spent leveling out the floor or they would have communicated the issues with the floor before working on it. Felipe is very kind, responsive and willing to fix anything.
