My daughter elected this year, against the recommendation of her school, to take two difficult math courses in the same year. With Sailie’s tutoring, she has excelled in both subjects and maintained her straight A status. She often has the highest test score in the class, sometimes receiving the only “A”. She told me, “Mom, getting Sailie was the best decision. She makes things so easy to understand!” Thanks, Sailie!!!!!
Sina is very friendly and does a good job of teaching the math concepts. My 5th grader enjoys her tutoring sessions and is getting remarkably better grades as a result.. thanks Sina!!
The best tutoring company around.
I hired Mr. Edwards for tutoring in College Algebra. I have not started my class yet, but Mr. Edwards has already been helpful in meeting with me one night a week to get me ready for when I do start class in the Spring. He is very easy going which makes it really easy to talk to him and ask questions. I would recommend Mr. Edwards to anyone who was looking for a math tutor!
I am currently an instructor and have had the privilege to work with Juanita. I have seen her teaching skills in action and she is an outstanding educator. She is able to take advanced concepts and break them down into parts that are easier to digest. She is able to teach through many different methods until she is satisfied that you understand the material. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing some assistance.
I have used Hplex, for my child's tutoring needs. It was well worth it it, and you won't be disappointed. Help is there for your child in all ways. I an happy l found Hplex and entrusted him to teach my kid strategies needed most to be successful in math.
Noel has tutored me in physics and in calculus. In both classes I struggled the first semester until I found Noel. He was able to teach me the things I didn't understand and also helped me with my test anxiety. I had other tutors before Noel and Noel has been the best out of them all. His experience in math and science shows through when he tutors me. I highly recommend Noel as a tutor.
I've worked three times with Stephenie and she is so patient. Also, she has been available in a pinch when I've needed her. She's made College Algebra a lot less intimidating and I am so grateful to have found her.
I don't know if I could have passed those pesky, required college math classes without Kendall's help. I do know, with his help, I did pass my math classes and graduated with high honors. Kendall has the ability to assess where you're at, and then teach at a comfortable level, to get you where you want to be. He displays patience and understanding and will talk you down from the ledge, if need be.
I would help you understand the math homework or questions that you have. I love math myself; it is a fun subject for me.

I have been a professional tutor for the last 2 years and have helped students achieve their goals in all levels of math, reading, and writing. From teaching 4th-6th grades to serving as a senior outdoor education instructor, I have held many roles in education. I currently hold a professional license to teach in the state of Colorado and am a certified Calming Kids Yoga instructor. I also helped revamp the curriculum for the National Youth Leadership Training Institute with the Boy Scouts of America. I have experience with Everyday Math, Singapore Math, Every Child a Reader, DIBBELS, Readers and Writers Workshop, and other elementary programs. Clients can expect my tutoring sessions to be targeted to the individual needs of my students. We will use a variety of mediums to meet the needs of the student. I believe that communication is critical between teachers, tutors, and families to help maximize our time together. I typically meet families in their home for 1-2 times per week. Having a professional teaching license, I am quite familiar with the goals and objectives of an elementary curriculum and seek to connect students in engaging ways with the material. I believe that hands-on education helps provide opportunities for all students to critically analyze our world. One such example of capitalizing on little loved resources came when I tutored a lesson on the rock cycle to a small group of students. Out of the box, I deliberately selected the worn down, wrapper-less, seemingly uninspiring crayons that most students would throw away in an effort to be creative. These brave little volunteers would serve as my test subjects. Slowly, I cut the crayon bits into small chunks. One could feel the excitement in my room! After taking turns pounding on the tin foil to represent pressures within the Earth, we exposed the crayons to heat via a dumpster dived candle and reused piece of tin foil leftover from our mystery meat camp dinner. My students synthesized their own theories before we compared what actual Stem scientists had concluded. And, best of all, this lesson used recycled materials!

Since I am not a licensed tutor, I am very affordable and willing to work with varying financial situations. Most of all, I am very patient, caring, and efficient!
