The thing I appreciate most about Daniel is his communication. he responded quickly and thoroughly to all my questions. He and his crew worked diligently and finished our kitchen cabinet installation and it looks wonderful. they even came back after our floors were installed to do the finishing touches. I will definitely use him again and have already asked him for a quote for our tile backsplash. highly recommend!

Hire them! Justin was so professional and he does great work. He put countertops in our kitchen, bathroom, and our linen storage cabinet! We had a lot of bids and we are so glad we chose him. He was very quick and thorough on installation day, and everything turned out just beautifully! We will hire him again in the future for sure.

We have been getting our basement finished for the last few weeks and I can say without a doubt that Brian from Design Create is by far one of the best contractors I have ever seen. I work for a custom home builder so I know quality when I see it. Brian's pricing was right on the money and his work is outstanding. We have been thrilled by his communication, craftsmanship, and level of professional nature. His team is super caring and are such hard workers. Everything Brian and his team have done from the tile work to installing cabinets, and drywall has been done flawlessly. If you are looking to finish your basement, do a small remodel, or an outdoor kitchen feel free to contact me for a reference or look up his other reviews on thumbtack.com. We have recommended him to many friends and can't say more about how awesome this process has been! Pictures to follow shortly.

We hired Mike to build a floor to ceiling linen closet. I had specific design instructions and look in mind. He was easy to work with and the finished product is what I wanted. He needed to tweak one of the door corners but promptly fixed it and we are happy with our new cabinet!

We had an 8' cabinet (two 4 ft sections) that actually fell off our laundry room wall. Charlie rebuilt the cabinets for us and explained that the back of the original cabinets had been plywood and eventually couldn't hold the weight of the contents (which really wasn't that much) and thus caused the cabinets to pull away from the wall. Anyway, Charlie has years of cabinet making experience and explained exactly what needed to be done to rebuild the cabinets, make them stronger and re-install them. He was easy to work with and we are delighted with his finished work. We are happy to recommend him to anyone who needs new cabinets or cabinet repairs.

We hired Curtis to build a custom cabinet for above our bed. Curtis came to our home to discuss the project and clearly heard what we were asking for. His bid was very competitive and we were confident he'd do good work. We were not disappointed. He suggested a good wood option at our request and listened to what we wanted in terms of finishes. The cabinet is exactly what we hoped for in terms of shape, style and appearance. He was always on time for meetings (initial consult, contract signing, installation) and the installation timeline was exactly as scheduled. I was slightly worried that the contract didn't really include a picture or description of the project, but in the end, Curtis delivered exactly what was promised, so the contract wasn't an issue. My only points of caution, if this matters to you, is that Curtis seems to be a smoker, and the scent lingered a bit after he left. The varnish product he used also continues to off-gas, so if that matters, discuss alternatives ahead of time. I wish I had done that, as I'm pregnant and the odor is tough to handle.

Ken, and his work, is outstanding, indeed. As an architect myself, I know what to look for in a craftsman. First is the willingness to LISTEN! to what the client wants. Next is care and attention to detail that comes from a sincere, innate desire to DO THINGS RIGHT! We knew we wanted something special for our 1900's-era home and found Ken on Thumbtack. He replied right away and quickly set up an appointment, which is another clue to more of his great qualities: TIMELINESS and ENTHUSIASM! After describing to Ken what we wanted, using sketches, magazines, internet pics and hand waving, he created exactly what we wanted. It was not the "modern" way of cabinet-making, but more of a historical style; Ken had to use CREATIVITY! in order to give the look we wanted. I was perhaps most impressed at install, however. The old kitchen floor, walls and ceiling long ago stopped being at right angles to one another...as Ken set and leveled the cabinets and installed the doors, I could see how much HE CARES. It was a beautiful thing. The kitchen cabinets are the high point of our home tour...can't wait to call him back for bookshelves and bath cabinets! Thanks, Ken!

I found Jack on Craigslist however from the very first time I met him, his professionalism stood out and I had to contract him. He completes the job ahead of schedule with 100% satisfaction. There was times I had to run errands and left Jack alone at my house for multiple hours with no issues, 100% trustworthy. His prices are great and he will work with your budget. He installed my cabinets, remodeled my bathrooms, installed a TV above the fireplace, installed appliances with plumbing and flooring to include DEMO on all projects. Look no further and hire Jack ASAP! Best of all, always on TIME!!!

After I painted my wood stained kitchen cabinets, and replaced the hinges with new ones, I found that my cabinet doors did not close. I tried sanding the edges, but didn't get far. Mike came to the rescue, and finely sawed and rounded the door edges to perfection! He did a better job than I imagined they'd turn out. Mike works quickly, efficiently, keeps the mess to a minimum, and is a perfectionist. He is truly committed to his craft/skill and to my satisfaction of his work.

I contacted Thumbtack in order to find someone that could repair/rebuild a very expensive John Boos Gathering Butcher Block that was damaged during our move from Florida to Colorado. I quickly received a response from Taylor'd Designs and received a quote that was within my budget. Upon acceptance of the quote I received 2 very beautiful design options. Mike quickly scheduled an appointment to pickup the block and legs. The design I chose included shortening the block from 48 inches to 42 inches to fit my space. He sent me photo updates as work progressed and always contacted me if he had questions. Mike was very flexible on the delivery date for the finished cabinet but very prompt when I set it. I was stunned when I saw it! It is even more beautiful that it was when it was new and the quality of the workmanship is beyond what I expected. I am going to contact Taylor'd Designs again for another project in the future. Also, I am sharing a photo of the finished cabinet.

Roger Barber at Harmony Custom Interiors painted our maple kitchen cabinets off-white with a subtle antiqued accent. This was an extensive job over several weeks. We are very pleased with his work. Our cabinets look very professionally painted, almost brand new. To get this perfect finish, Roger used a very methodical process involving several stages of sanding, priming, deglazing, and painting. He is very perfectionistic and attentive to every little detail, which I really appreciate. He is also considerate and polite. His pricing is reasonable as well. I highly recommend Roger.

Uncle Brian came in with his crew to remodel my guest bathroom. They removed the tub and put in a wonderful, large walk in shower. They cleaned up after themselves every day and there was never any "locker room" talk, so it was always a comfortable and easy relationship between myself and the guys. They built me a custom medicine cabinet and the tile work in the shower is lovely. They also put in a set of frame-less shower doors and it's all just beautiful.

Kiko installed a brand new kitchen, complete with cupboards, exterior and interior lighting and built in microwave. Over 100 boxes arrived from Ikea and Kiko quickly assembled the cabinets without missing a step; we were at a loss as what goes where when they arrived. Kiko was professional, courteous, and finished the project on time and within the quoted price. I highly recommend Kiko and will hire him again if we have a kitchen remodel.

I have a knee nook area in my master bath cabinet that is wasted space. I would like a cabinet built to fill in this space that is 30 inches tall and 36 inches wide. I would like it to be a drawer base. I currently have 2 drawers that could be used and I have a large pantry door and wall cabinet that could be used to make the drawer fronts for the new cabinet.

I need a single piece of furniture made to coordinate with an existing bedroom set. We have two batchelor's chests that we used as nightstands and when we moved into this home, both nighstands would not fit beside the bed. We have looked for a coordinating table that was the same height but have been unsuccessful. While nighstands do not have to match, we want the other nightstand to be the exact same height (35 inches) so that the matching lamps will look symetrical. Anyway, the width can be 28-32", height 35", and depth 18". Attached are 4 pictures. First is the existing nightstand that could be duplicated with a smaller width only. Pictures 2 and 3 show other peices in the set that have elements that I also like. So as a second option, we could do a cabinet/drawer combo with some of the elements from the other pictures. Still, the piece would have to fit the dimensions given above. The fourth picture shows the empty space next to the bed that the new piece will fit into. Let me know what you think and an estimated cost. Is this something you are interested in doing? Have pictures but cannot attach here. Distressed, honey oak with pyramid shaped panels. Old world style. Hard to describe.
