Tim was very professional and responsive. He was able to fix what was wrong with my furnace, duct work, water heater, and went above and beyond what I had expected. Moreover, he did it with proficiency and efficiency, but more importantly, a keen interest in building a long term relationship with his customers.
Great customer service! Tom called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time and was very professional. He replaced my 21-year old water heater with the new one, made sure the installation was up to code, and hauled away the old one. The installation looks great, everything was neat and tidy when he was done, and the price was exactly what we'd agreed on. Thanks Tom!
Dr HVAC did our duct cleaning. The technician was very courteous, did a great job, and cleaned up well. We are very satisfied and would recommend DR HVAC to others.
TopDawg rocks! They removed an old system of blowers pushing air over water-heated pipes in two separate attics just in time for winter. A high-efficiency gas furnace, unified duct work, and coils for a future central air system install was the right solution for my heating problems. This was difficult job as both attics are pitched and small, there are deep piles of loose insulation, old wiring was in the way, and there was an impossibly tight area in which they had to connect the two attics. Gary, Case, Arian (?), and the others were professional, very safety-oriented, and also fixed some other problems they found in the attics so we are both warm and safe now. The install with additional repairs were all within the original estimated bid too! Great job!!
Jonathan did a great job installing the tile & vanity and my bathroom. I plan on hiring him again.
We had a great experience with CO Discount Heating & Cooling. They responded quickly and provided an honest assessment of what was wrong and cost to repair...didn't try to upset but presented options ranging from less expensive/short-term fix to longer term solutions. They were extremely flexible with our timeline, listened carefully to some of our concerns and budget constraints and worked with us on price for not only repair but also installation of a new furnace and AC. Friendly, knowledgable, honest and flexible. Highly recommend them!
Sam has been a God-Send for me. I was out of town when my tenant called and said the gas had been turned off to the house because of gas leaks. This, in the midst of a Denver Blizzard! Many phone calls later, I connected with Sam (Comfort Solutions). He went out that night and left portable heaters. Sam was great, communicating with me about the gas lines, and also the furnace, which, because of space restrictions, had been incorrectly ducted. Within a few days, Sam had replaced the faulty gas lines, and installed custom duct-work that was up to Code, and that still allowed my tenant to use the (Tiny) "laundry room" without hitting his head on ducts. Even though it was an Emergency Call, requiring lots of special attention, Sam's pricing was very reasonable. I give Comfort Solutions the highest recommendation possible.
Mike showed up on time, ready to work, was collaborative and asked questions that related to my preferences. He followed construction standards for installing the waterproof backer board prior to tile installation. I'm happy with the quality of the finished work.
I highly recommend Trent for Handyman services and home inspections. Trent is very professional and does as promised. The quality of his work is excellent and I was very happy with the job he did for me- installing the venting above a range to exhaust smells and fumes outside while cooking. Thanks, Trent!
We had a small hole in our wall that needed to be patched from a gas heater removal. We also needed the old heater thermostat and wire removed. Tom quickly responded on Thumbtack and was very flexible with the timing of the project. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. And we loved the repair work he did. We will definitely use Tom, again!
Air Duct did a fantastic job for me insulting my basement. I originally only wanted the ceiling done however, the city inspector said I also had to add additional insulation to the wall. Adi said no problem and did an excellent job. The inspector also commented on the professional insulation.
Showed up early. Reconnected a duct for us and cut out part of our kickboard to let more heat in for us. Fast, Efficient and Low-Priced.
We needed central air conditioning for our new home in Castle Rock and we interviewed several HVAC companies before making a decision. We received quotes from: Southwest Heating & Cooling, All Seasons Mechanical, Mr. Cool Heating & Cooling, Parker Heating and Air, and Blue Flame Heating & Air Conditioning. Out of the five businesses, we decided to hire Justin from Blue Flame for the following reasons: 1) Justin was extremely responsive to both phone and e-mail. (I actually found BlueFlame through Thumbtack, and Justin replied almost immediately after I posted the job early on a Sunday morning). 2) Justin had excellent communication, and always called in advance to let us know that he was on his way. 2) Justin did not try to upsell us on equipment that we did not need. 3) The quote that Blue Flame provided was very competitive compared to competitors. 4) Justin actually took the time to come back and perform a free heat load calculation on our house before we even hired him. Only one other vendor did this and they were not nearly as thorough as Justin was. 5) Blue Flame was the only Rheem dealer, and his competitors could not say anything bad about the Rheem brand of air conditioners. By contrast, Trane dealers claimed that Goodwin was unreliable, and Goodwin dealers claimed that Trane was both over-priced and had poor compressor motors. I don't know if either of those claims can be substantiated, but my online research indicated that Rheem units were very reliable. 6) The estimate, heat load calculation, and work order from Blue Flame were all provided electronically, and contained thorough documentation of the work that was performed. Justin used an iPad to document his work as he went and quickly published the results online. Although Justin is licensed in Douglas County, he was not licensed in Castle Rock. Normally this would be a deal breaker, but given the reasons we decided to hire Justin over his competitors, we decided to just pull the permit ourselves as homeowners. (Note: In Castle Rock, this is done entirely online, costs $50, and is issued in under 24 hours). I and am happy to report that Blue Flame passed the town's inspection and that all work was completed according to code. I did use Sun Dog Electric for the electrical work, so I cannot comment on the quality of the electricians that Blue Flame normally employs, but I am sure they would also do fine. We had Justin install a central humidifier for us as well, which his competitors were not even sure would be possible given the small space in our utility closet (see pictures on Yelp). Justin was able to fit an advanced Honeywell unit into the system just fine. Although I won't know how well it will work until this winter, I am confident that we will be very happy with it. Justin took the time to explain how the new air conditioning system works, as well as the humidifier, and the required maintenance for both units. He demonstrated their operation, and provided both manuals to us. In addition, Justin recommended an annual system check, which he can perform for only $49. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of installation and service that was provided by Justin from Blue Flame. If you are currently in the market for a new A/C system or furnace, need repairs, or just maintenance performed, you can stop researching and just call Blue Flame. They're competitively priced, have good products, and provide excellent customer service. What more can you ask for?
I hired HVAC Plus to replace my furnace. They installed a 95% efficient furnace at a very reasonable price and the hauled away the old furance. The installation looks great! New furnace is awesome. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
David installed a shower rod for us. He did a great job, on time and very professional. Will definitely hire him again.
Jason did a great job on our old bathroom walls. He does beautiful work and they were smooth and perfect when he was done. He also worked with me if I wanted something different. The price was fair too. I would highly recommend him.
Jason replaced the bathroom and shower floors after a leak due to a faulty water line in the shower. Jason did an excellent job on installing the floors and I would not hesitate you call him again to complete other repairs in my home. Jason suggested ideas and alternatives, that I did not consider previously, that turned out very nice after project completion. Finally, the project was completed in a timely fashion.
I hired Active Maintenance and Prevention to replace my water heater. They were very professional and affordable. They went beyond what I had originally hired them to do and they repaired my furnace as well as my water heater. I will be definitely be hiring them again in the future for other repairs needed. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone.
Michael, the owner of Goodfellas, came out and did a VERY thorough estimate for my A/C project. He actually measured my windows and doors and suggested placing a return air duct in my basement which no other estimator did. He took the time to make sure I understood everything and took the information to his office and spec'd the proper equipment for my home. Goodfellas provided me a very fair price for the equipment and labor. He showed up with an installer, Jay and also had an assistant. Very neat and clean installation and very professional at every step. I received great financing terms. They went over and above and I will gladly recommend Goodfellas to everyone looking to do a heating and cooling project. Thank you Michael!
The job Dana did on my front door was superb! The job was fairly more complicated than a standard install but Dana and Shannon were wonderful to work with and able to deal with the complications! I will definitely hire them again on future projects.
