They retiled around my original jetted tub/shower and installed a separate new shower w/ a shower door for us to wash our Great Dane, which we will also use now leaving the bath/shower as a soaking tub instead. They installed new lighting over the new shower, a new light/fan to vent the steam outside without the need to open the window in the winter, installed new tile flooring and reinstalled our toilet and vanity sink, adding a vanity/medicine cabinet and lighting as well. Super happy with the quality of work and responsiveness to changes decided along the way. Kyle didn’t over charge and while he’s definitely not cheap, he’s reasonable in his pricing… great value for a great price. Not only do I recommend Kyle for your next job, I’ve recommended him to friends and family already, I’ve already decided to rehire him to remodel my basement bathroom in the coming months."See more

I found these folks though Thumbtack and told them I had a very tight timeline. We met the next day and discussed my needs. He said he would get a quote back to me the next day. Well, three days later I go the quote after reminding him. However, because of my timeline I had to make a decision, so I went with another company to complete my kitchen remodel. Also, I wanted the cabinets included in the quote, but he told me I "needed to go pick out what I wanted from Home Depot" (who I despise!) and he would install them. I didn't have time to do that. Sorry to leave an average review, but the work quoted was not what I asked for.

Unresponsive and questionable business ethics. They came out to give us an estimate. They seem interested and indicated that they were available to perform our large remodel. Promised a response with an estimate. I had to reach out to them and they replied that they took a different project! Unethical. Thanks for wasting our time. Beau DID NOT send an email last Thursday to express anything. I had to reach out to Universal through thumbtack. I would not recommend this company as they left us in the dust for more money. I specifically asked if my kitchen, 3 bath, flooring, and plumbing repair project was within their scope and Beau specifically said they take projects as low at $20k. So- it’s fair to leave a client hanging only to come back that you have decided to take a project for more money. Next time, don’t come out to do walk through and go through diagrams, when you don’t intend to take the project seriously. Be careful how you conduct business. Karma.
