Michael is a great teacher for my 9 year old. He is conscientious, creative and highly skilled. I highly recommend him.

Michael and I met through friends, and had about 10 lessons together. He was so patient with me even though my skill level was next to nothing. Because of Michael, I can now hold my own behind a drum set. Michael wrote all of his lessons out in a way that was easy to understand and refer back to between lessons.

Michael fit a great deal of curriculum into our allotted time. He was very knowledgeable about Afro-Cuban music. I must admit (being a Cuban from Miami) I was impressed at his breadth of knowledge on the subject. He is not only a top top notch teacher, but also an accomplished musician. I cant wait to continue my drumming lessons with him.
