After interviewing several companies, I decided on Hammer Heros. Sam came out and showed me just how putting up the drywall would work since I had a room full of pipes. He made several suggestions and showed me cabinets I could use. I had a concrete floor and they put in a solid core vinyl, gave me lots of light, a barn door, and a new laundry sink. There was a team of workers for every phase of the construction and they were very respectful and prompt. Aaron, the owner, was here often and made sure things were going as they should. If something wasn’t quite right it was fixed immediately. They were able to start almost immediately and told me it would take about 2 weeks. It took just over 2 weeks and I couldn’t be happier. We requested a few minor cosmetic changes after the framing had begun. Dan and his team were accommodating and, after a brief discussion to confirm feasibility, made the adjustments. The result turned out extremely well. After a five-day curing period, Dan’s team returned to remove the tarp and framing and put the final touches on the patio. The final step was a comprehensive site clean-up, which included removing a small tree that had been cleared during the project, along with any other debris. They left the site looking better than they found it. Gator wasn’t the cheapest quote I received, but their thorough preparation, attention to detail during curing, and post-project clean-up made the higher cost well worth it.
