Anji created a yoga class which focused on the whole individual...the body and the spiritual. I had been doing yoga for over 15 years and with her knowledge of yoga she was able to introduce me to new wonderful aspects such as Yin Yoga. She always encouraged her class to listen to our own bodies and be aware how its abilities may change from class to class. Anji has such warmth and love for her students, it was always invigorating and relaxing to attend her classes. I will miss her.
Whitney is an amazing yoga teacher. She is very skilled in teaching from feeling. She will guide you in measurable moments of success on your mat and then this will spread out into your life. I am very impressed with the skills that Whitney has to offer. Her class is fun and exciting and she teaches with enthusiasm for yoga. Namaste :) Hope Herrlin
Tara, really listens to her clients--she is flexible in her protocols, is always on time, focused and prepared. Tara has training in other areas such as yoga and dance and brings that knowledge/experience to her sessions. She is delightful as an instructor who is there for you.
FBY is a wonderful yoga studio with a large variety of yoga classes and workshops. We have been members since they first opened. The massage therapist is wonderful too.
Katie has been my Personal Trainer for about six months. Katie is very thoughtful in her approach to helping me strengthen my body - especially to help fight Osteopenia. I appreciate her asking at each session how my body is feeling and if I'm having pain any place. I feel Katie has good knowledge of physiology and muscle structure in the body - I can count on her to advise me of stretches and exercises which will benefit my individual needs. Also, important to me, is Katie's flexibility in scheduling. I look forward to my sessions and enjoy Katie's energetic nature. Donna
She’s a good and honest, loyal person
I have been practicing yoga for a long time, and I must say Jenna is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. Her knowledge about the body, breath, and mind is incredible, and she always challenges me to be the best I can.
Sam is a gentle and intuitive yoga instructor and an all-around amazing human.
I adored taking Yoga with Eleanor, she was calm clear and visual. Her classes always suit her students, even if a mixed bunch of abilities! When she left the South Bay area to return home, I cancelled my membership at the club where she was teaching, as I didn't find the other teachers as good. If you're very lucky she might even play her flute at the end of class for the relaxation part :-)
Maggie taught a nutrition workshop and led a yoga class for our apartment community. For the nutrition workshop, Maggie was very prepared and presented information in a clear and engaging manner. Her knowledge of the material and the science behind the nutrition was evident. I learned so much and I continue to apply her suggestions to my daily nutritional choices! Her yoga class was equally excellent. Maggie created a relaxing atmosphere and led the sequences with confidence. I loved how she engaged with each participant, helping us to perfect each pose and taking time to focus on each individual’s needs. Maggie is incredibly talented!
