FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My focus is on value, not just price. If you are looking for the cheapest flight and a bare-bones booking, I am probably not the right fit and I will be upfront about that. What I do is design. Every itinerary is personally crafted around your travel style, your must-haves, and your budget. Finding the best pricing is part of that process, but so is making sure every piece fits together beautifully. Each itinerary represents hours of dedicated planning, which is why Amore Travel Designs charges a planning fee. Think of it as a mutual commitment. I give you my very best and you are invested in the process too. Great travel is worth planning well. That is exactly what I am here for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every great trip starts with a complimentary planning session to learn your travel dreams and must-haves. If we are a good fit, we formalize our agreement and you complete a short client information form. From there I deliver my best proposal matched to your style, timeline, and budget. We refine until every detail feels exactly right, then you submit a deposit authorization and I get everything reserved. From that point you receive a full digital itinerary, on the ground emergency contacts while traveling, and I am always reachable by phone or email. I follow up when you return because I genuinely want to hear how it went.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With nearly nine years in the luxury travel industry, I bring both deep experience and a genuine commitment to staying current. I hold the ASTA Certified Travel Advisor designation along with multiple destination specialist certifications — and as a Virtuoso Certified Travel Agent, I have access to exclusive training, new product information, and the latest intel on the world's top destinations and vetted properties. I'm constantly investing in my knowledge through industry workshops, conferences, and supplier webinars. More importantly, I travel — a lot. FAM trips to the destinations I sell are a regular part of how I work, because there is simply no substitute for firsthand experience when it comes to recommending the right hotel, the right itinerary, or the right time of year to go. When you work with Amore Travel Designs, you're not getting someone who read about your destination online. You're getting someone who has likely been there.
