Piano Lessons!

Introduction: Many studies consist of simply moving through pieces. I cover the musical and technical aspects that make them easy and musically expressive. I'm offering piano lessons to local people who really want to pursue the instrument in-depth and be able to play pieces they can enjoy. Involved in this mission is studying technique as well as musicality. I've worked with people preparing for college and performances as well as people just wanting to play for fun! I work with the student to tackle the many aspects involved in playing the piano efficiently and effectively, including safe and efficient movements, proper elements of music making and the best ways to bring the music out. Much of good piano playing is rooted in the underlying framework and this can produce amazing music! It's an honor to teach people to enjoy the piano as much as I do, and seeing them progress from maybe knowing nothing about the piano to playing full pieces is a great thing. Having them do so with a good understanding of music and with techniques to make the playing that much better is even more exciting.
