FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer package discounts for privates, semi-privates, and classes. There are never contracts signed and class enrollment/payment is on a month to month basis. I accept credit cards, checks, venmo and cash. Cash discounts are given for private and semi-private instruction!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients new to pilates are offered a half price ($35) introductory private session. This session educates the student about the fundamentals of the pilates work and gives them an opportunity to experience the pilates method. If the client wishes to move into a class setting, a few more privates are encouraged to learn more about the method before entering a small group. If the new customer is looking for private instruction, we will move forward! If a new client has previous pilates experience and good understanding of the work, they can enter group classes based on availability.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have more than 29 years of experience leading health, wellness and fitness classes. I have been teaching pilates exclusively since 2002. I received a B.A. in Therapeutic Recreation from C.U Boulder and worked in a hospital environment for 15 years. Leaving work in the hospital behind, I took my love of fitness and combined it with my clinical experience and discovered pilates. Pilates is amazing tool for everybody... from those in rehabilitation from an injury to those looking to get an athletic edge in their sport. I am nationally certified as a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher and also am a Fletcher Pilates Qualified Instructor.
