My daughters have both worked with Ms. deChelly for the past two years. They have come to love their time with her. She is a positive role model for them and her patience and ability to adapt to their needs as they have grown and developed musically and personally has been so helpful. She puts great effort in getting to know their personal learning styles and developing a professional learning relationship with each of them. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a rich background and deeply rooted love of music that is very apparent in her ability to work with students. She is always willing to go above and beyond to meet their needs and interestes. She spends hours writing music specially for them and truly cares about their learning and developing their skills and growing their love of music. She is very skilled at tailoring lessons to each of their needs and interests. She is patient, kind, supportive and very positive in her work with them. We feel very blessed to have come to know her as a family and highly recommend her as a teacher and a mentor.
