Jen PARENT OF STUDENT Peter has been teaching our youngest son (9 years old) piano for about one year. It's a joy to hear the progression and to know that Owen is enjoying the process of learning more about music and learning to play the piano. Peter strikes a nice balance between his warmth and encouragement alongside setting expectations with a weekly lesson plan. He is also a dependable, punctual, kind and positive person, which is so appreciated. Peter ensures that Owen is developing a solid foundation, but also has freedom to have fun with music. We love to see the kids find an outlet for creative expression alongside sports and schooling, so piano lessons with Peter have been worthwhile. Owen YOUNG STUDENT Mr. Peter encourages me, and he pushes me to try things that are harder. I like piano because you can be creative and write your own music. Mr. Peter teaches me lessons from my piano books, but also teaches me chords and things like 'Jingle Bells' and the blues scale, which are extremely fun.

My family and I would highly recommend Peter for piano lessons! His attention to detail and level of knowledge is impeccable. He is amazing with teaching children and has great patience while they learn. My boys are 13 and 11 years old and have already learned how to do chord progressions and intro knowledge in music production. They have a lot of fun with Peter!

Peter has been fantastic to work with and I've grown so much as a musician with his help. He's always interested in what I'm looking to learn about, and tailors the lessons to suit my goals.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing varies on location of student if lessons are to be taken at the student's house. Also, discounts are available for 2 or more students as often siblings take lessons back-to-back. Referrals will give you discounts too!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a free consultation for potential students. After evaluating where the student is musically and hearing their goals, I offer my recommendations and roadmap to musical success!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Starting with classical lessons and over 30 years of playing various genres of music from gospel, jazz, R&B, neo-soul, classical, rock, pop & contemporary as well as composing and producing music libraries, I have a unique perspective for students who want to branch off from formal piano lessons or those wanting to adhere to classical music through traditional lessons.
