Steven got back to me right away. When he arrived he quickly assessed the situation and got to work. He was very friendly and knew his stuff. Went above and beyond by continuously giving his advice (freely) on how to improve and better maintain our home.
Steven is a true professional in the sense that he knows his craft, is customer oriented, and completely honest about the service he is giving; in terms of time and effort. He only did the work that he thought he should do and gave us instructions on how to take care of the rest ourselves. In essence he cut himself out of the rest of the job, which he could have charged us for, in order to save us (his customers) money by allowing us to finish off the trivial parts of the job.
He charged well below other quotes that I had received, honestly assessing how much time he spent on the job and the level of difficulty of the job. I don't know if I can say it much better than he said it himself; when questioned upon the low charge (Paraphrasing) he stated: "Other people are out to make as much money as possible at any given time. I believe in running a business, and running a business means making sure I still have business. How much do you make an hour?" Needless to say he has my business from now on.
If you are looking for a truly knowledgeable, integritous professional, who has a teacher's heart (wants to better people by teaching them what they need to know to make better decisions), and will do what's necessary to get your continued business; then you owe it to yourself to make Steven Donner your handyman of choice.
