I bought a house recently, and Brian built a wall in my basement doing a great job on that. He's also done many other small renovations around the house.

Hired on Thumbtack
Beware of this bogus company. Brian Gonzales of BSR LLC is nothing but trouble from the beginning. It was a big contract and he lured me to sign the contract after making great promises. Then he showed his true color after cashing the checks. He never comes on time to work. He comes at 5:30 PM in the afternoon and works till 8:30 in the night though we agreed for this just for a one off situation. He will work for others during the day time and won't give any importance to finish this job. A work that was suppose to be completed in 2 weeks took more than 2 months and still not completed as he started demanding more money for everything. He simply started saying certain tasks are not part of the agreement while it was very clear that it is needed to complete the work. I ended up paying additional for paints, materials and other work. He left some of the work unfinished and I ended up hiring other contractors, paid thousands of dollars extra to get my work done.
He is not skilled in many things and brings other contractors who are not skilled either. Due to his poor quality of work, we had to repeat the work several times. He was careless about everything. He damaged the brand new wood floor and did nothing to fix it. He didn't buy the lights he promised and I ended up buying those. I lost thousands of extra dollars by hiring this company. Big mistake that I didn't check about this company before hiring them. It is probably why they don't have any reviews.
Worst of all, Thumbtak didn't do anything about it as they promises in their guarantee when we filed a complaint . They assigned it to a third party fairclaims which was a total joke. They did a nothing to solve our problem. So don't trust Thumbtak about solving your problem. They won't do anything to help if you lose your money or the contractors don't finish the job. Always hire the highly rated pros with good reviews even if you have to pay extra money.
