Zach is great to work with. His creativity and dedication to quality are second to none. I was pretty lost in the direction I wanted to take my logo, but Zach came up with some really wonderful ideas to get me started, then used his design and marketing expertise to chisel out what I feel to be the perfect logo design for my business. I plan on continuing to work with Zach as he will help design business cards, folders and a brand standards guide. Anybody looking to change or create their brand/logo/website, I 100% recommend ZWM Creative.

Liz helped me with a logo design for a new business startup. At first, I was a little wary of using someone all the way across the country (I'm in Georgia, and she is in Colorado), but after our initial consultation, I was instantly at ease. Liz's professionalism was impeccable throughout the process. Her first response to my Thumbtack ad included everything I needed to evaluate her business (quote with breakdown, links to her website and samples of her work). After our consultation, she delivered her first round of designs exactly when she promised, and, after viewing them, I knew that she had really LISTENED to me! All the first designs were good, but one in particular really encompassed everything I was looking for. After just a few days of tweaking, we arrived at a design that conveys all the elements of my business. Throughout the process, Liz was prompt in her revisions and easy to work with, and the final design is creative, unique, and most of all, has personality...everything I wanted in a brand. I would highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for a talented professional to create a logo for his or her business!

I've worked with Doug in a number of capacities over the years and consider him a great friend, co-worker and contractor. He is an endless fountain of creative ideas. When we both apply ourselves to design projects, I find he has 10 wonderful ideas for every one of mine. His sky high integrity and unwillingness to accept a sub-par outcome make him an excellent choice in any position!

We are an art center in downtown Long Beach that hired AKA Graffx to design promotional materials. He added a creative element to our standard design that appealed to a new audience without distracting our current base. Plus they provide a quick turn around! But AKA Graffx exceeded our expectations when they proposed a mural for the front our art center. Not only was the mural completed with great school but the artist was able to translate the mission of our organization into the mural. The mural helped us in branding ourselves as the premier art center in downtown.

I had an idea that I needed a planner with specific details and steps for my sales team. Carina Hermann at LBC Design Co was recommended to me and I am so glad she was!! Together we walked thru the process of taking an idea and producing a quality product. But not only did we get the planner completed, she assisted with the web, brand and social media also. I totally recommend LBC Design ......quality was excellent....prices were reasonable, such a great working experience!!! If you want to see check it out go to www.ambitiousplanner.com

Most designers only give you your logo designed as is...in full color. I not only give you your full color logo, but your logo in black/white, greyscale, and reversed (so it will show up on light or dark backgrounds). I also give you all original artwork files in Illustrator, so you don't have to keep coming back to me and pay me to resize your logo for different types of marketing materials down the road. You have everything you need to take your logo to any printer and have it printed on anything!

    About

I'm a freelance designer who works alone from my home. I'm willing to work with anyone on anything, as long as the task isn't rocket-science-related. I'm dedicated to what I do, and I can produce some really great designs. As I work from home, I'm always willing to conduct business over the phone, via email or meet somewhere that is a mutual distance for both of us. My programs of choice for designing are Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign; I've gotten very good at each program. I've designed everything from a postcard to a giant pop-up banner. I've worked with designs for editorial issues, websites, email, print, etc.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What makes a good logo design?

A good logo is an easily identifiable, memorable image that represents your brand. A good logo design aligns with your business model and expresses your company’s core values. A good logo design is simple, appealing, and easy for customers and viewers to quickly process. Some of the key components of a great logo are type, color palette and design. The scale, font and arrangement of the text you select will all make a difference in the feel and representation of your brand. A graphic designer will help you home in on the colors that best represent your identity and help you keep the color palette simple. The design of your logo includes the shapes you select and the way the color and type are arranged together. Investing in the services of a professional to create your logo design is likely a smart investment for any size business. Nationally, the average price range for a logo designer ranges from $170 to $250.

How much does it cost to create a logo?

Logo design is an important part of your company’s brand development. More than an image with text and color, a logo communicates the tone and personality of your company to your potential customers. Hiring a graphic designer with an appealing portfolio and quality reviews is a solid start to creating a winning logo design. The cost to create a logo can depend on how in-depth the marketing and design services you request are. Designers can create one logo in multiple formats (horizontal, vertical, etc.) to fit both your website and social media platforms, they can create a variety of designs for clients to select from, or they can create multiple logos for one client who needs branding for more than one venture. Logos may be text-only, text and image, or image-only. Many designers and design firms charge by the hour for their services, while other companies offer packages bundled with design services. Here are some examples of cost:

    • National average cost to hire a logo designer: $170-$250.
    • Average hourly rate for a freelance marketing consultant: about $150.
    • Tiered pricing for logo design packages from one firm:
      • Package One: $200 for three logo concepts, three rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
      • Package Two: $350 for 10 logo concepts, unlimited rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
      • Package Three: $550 for everything included in the Package Two, plus business card design, letterhead design, social media graphics and an email signature.
      • Package Four: $850 for everything in the Package Three, plus custom brand guidelines, which outline a strategy for creating a consistent branding in the client’s business.
