I placed a catering order for my Conference Championship Football party this year through DeCicco's and could not be happier. I met with their event planner, Francesca, who I found to be very responsive, attentive and professional. Francesca noted any concerns I had, was quick to quote me a price for the event, and I couldn't find one complaint once the order was fulfilled. I wanted to give a full throated endorsement to Laura and her excellent staff at Sunflowers Catering and Event Planning. My wife and I hired Laura on the good advice of a friend to cater our wedding party in the Brooklyn art district of DUMBO in the art gallery Smack Mellon. We could not be happier. First Laura was incredibly attentive and thorough making multiple site inspections ahead of the wedding and interfacing with the venue manager. Her preplanning and coordination was excellent. Laura runs a super tight ship and her staff were poised and on point. I grew up in the hospitality business on Martha’s Vineyard and I have catered many, many weddings. I know a well oiled machine when I see one and watching the hustle of the staff setting up ahead of the event immediately calmed my frayed wedding day nerves. I knew we were in excellent hands. Now the Food! The food was fantastic. We had a raw bar that people were raving about, the passed appetizers were delicious. It was a great feeling when dinner was served and word began to make it back to us that the guests were very happy and impressed. The cookies we asked for at the end of the night were also especially tasty. Our wedding came off like a charm, it was a great night and we owe a large part of it to Laura. I would recommend Sunflowers Catering without hesitation to anyone with an event to cater. Sincerely, Ryan Matta P.S. It is probably worth mentioning that they left the venue spotless.

We hired 2 bartenders to serve drinks (beer, wine & 2 specialty cocktails) for a corporate happy hour. The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. And the drinks were great! Staff was also very helpful with planning the event at the last minute. We would definitely hire them again!

Peter was super professional, super nice and very easy to communicate with. From the early stages where we worked on the menu - Peter was very supportive and open minded to all my demands (10 people, lots of food allergies to handle) and through the whole event - he showed on time with all the equipment and left the kitchen tidy and cleaner then he received it ;) Thruogh the event Peter was amazing, he served and explained about all the dishes (which were AMAZING) and paid attention to all the small details such as the visibility and serving. It was HUGE success and my guests kept talking about it 2 days after the event. I would definitely use he's services again

I hired Jessica for my engagement party on 5/23/15, she was AMAZING! In addition to asking all of the right questions etc. beforehand she also secured an extra set of hands to help throughout the event - Her and Nefertiti, from the moment they arrived, hit the ground running and took care of everything. They were very professional, accommodating and extremely hard-working. They were there on-time, brought all of their bar supplies and went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. Working in events myself, I'm very picky and hesitant to recommend anyone, unless I would use them myself again, and I would 100% recommend Jessica and her team for any event! Especially engagement/shower/weddings - Every bride needs a crew like this one to make their day special and stress-free!

AMAZING!!!!! There are no words to describe how happy I am with the job that 3R's Catering & Events did for my baby shower. I wasn't aware od how stressful planning an event could be, but Regina relieved me of all of it. I gave her my vision and let her take the reigns. I'm so happy I did. All I literally had to do was SHOW UP!!! The team took care of mu guests and I all night. I couldn't have ask for a planner/decorater to be any better.

I am writing to recommend Amazing Events as I have now used their services 4 times to enhance my parties. At each event décor and entertainment were provided to enrich our atmosphere and guest enjoyment. Marty is extremely professional and passionate about event planning and décor. His many years of experience and talent lead to help guide me to a stress free and beautiful event. Marty provided inviting balloon décor in ways of arches, centerpieces and Balloon dance floor enhancements. His decoration using Balloons were the perfect touches to the many Sweet 16’s hosted as well as for my wedding. The balloon features were interesting and all of my guests loved how different and fun as they transformed the spaces. On top of providing the décor for my events Marty went above and beyond to entertain our guests throughout the party. He is vibrant and enthusiastic about what he does and truly takes pride in his work. Marty entertained my family and friends performing magic at my events, where my guests of all ages were intrigued and amused at his act. His performances were the perfect touches to make my parties stand out and ensure everyone was having a great time. Having used Amazing Events for multiple parties I love to recommend their services to family and friends. Marty controlled all décor for my events and made me feel comfortable and confident knowing he was handling it all. I honestly can't say enough great things about Mariage Blanc Designs Event Planning. With only so little time to plan my shower, Stephanie did such an amazing job. I knew an event planner was a necessity. I met with others but I couldn't afford them with my budget. Mariage Blanc Designs was the last Planner I called and I didn't even feel the need to search for more after speaking with Stephanie. All of my worries were put at ease, from that very first call. Stephanie had incredible communication skills and a way of making me feel like I was included in planning my shower like I wanted to be. She took all my ideas into consideration and made my dream/vision come true. We didnt have to worry about anything, from researching vendors to linen ideas, Stephanie handled it all. As well, listening skills, coupled with her creative eye and attention to detail, helped with turning my visions and dream baby shower into reality. My boyfriend was not so happy about hiring an event planner for our baby shower and as soon as he stepped into the location his mind completely changed and he couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything looked. All my guests complimented me about how amazing everything look. Steph and her staff came in and turned the place into a jungle theme shower of my dreams, Literally! The luckiest part to have a good wedding is to find the right wedding planner. Ani is the one that you cannot miss. A good friend can try to assist you for the day and the plan, but sometimes more help or ideas you get and the busier you get because most people do not know about a wedding. Ani is the one who will turn to be your best friend and think in your shoes, at the same time, she knows what she’s doing and making everything goes as smooth as you can imagine. Ani is smart, sharp, calm, warm-hearted, and sweet. She gives you the peaceful mind that nothing will go wrong because she’s around to help you all she can. She gets things done and is always on top of her game. She’s punctuate and professional. She’s also creative to make your wedding unique and special. She’s flexible for anything you ask for the wedding. So many things could go out of expectations. And there you have Ani who comes the earliest and leaves the latest. She’s willing to listen and cover all the holes. She’s a great communicator. No matter the priest, or a huge wedding party or vendors, girls or kids, everyone loves Ani. She’s very patient. You just love her and thank God she’s there for you. She cheers for you and feels every moment of your big day. If you picture your wedding like all the movies full of romance and fairy tales, then you must have a wedding planner, you must have Ani. Because the real wedding is like a war, you have many things to do but you cannot do on your own, you don’t get enough sleep, you cannot have enough time talk to everyone you want to, there is so much crisis you have to deal with, you plan so well but everything still goes wrong. People could easier get frustrated and even a nervous breakdown for the mixed emotions of the wedding day, happiness, sadness, or you are touched, or you miss the people who cannot be there to share. The wedding day is hard, as beautiful as it could be, but I learned the lesson from my engagement party that I will have a wedding planner for my party. A year and half of preparation for this big day, it has to be perfect. Then, I have Ani and I am so thrilled I found her, she contributed so much to my perfect day. I walked into the reception and everything was exactly I wanted. She just knows, without too much explanation, without the back and forth. If you want to have regrets and more enjoyment for the biggest day of your life, then contact Ani. Her value is priceless.

Gayle assisted me with my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. I needed her at the event site to set-up the decorations and oversee the vendors, including the caterer. She also coordinated a brunch for me at my home the next day. She supervised the caterer and the set-up for me that day so I could relax and enjoy my guests. She is reliable, creative, and a wonderful addition to my party needs! What Went Well: Gayle was extremely organized and professional. The B'nai Mitzvah set-up had a tight time schedule and she had everything ready on time. She was very responsive and everything went very smoothly.     A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200.     • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
    • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
    • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
    • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

    Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

    Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

    • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
    • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
