I definitely recommend using Jaison as your personal trainer. He is always on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Throughout the workout he pays close attention to your form and curtailing your plain to your fitness goals. I never drank protein shakes or knew exactly what was best to eat and how to exercise properly. Really pleased so far! Looking forward to my body goals!
I went in looking to lose weight. Stephen gave me a great diet plan to go by. Many options on food preferences. I also chose to have him as a personal trainer. The man knows what he's doing and at reasonable rates.

My experience with Marcia has been excellent and exactly what I had been looking for in a personal trainer. Marcia is very knowledgable, professional, and always on time. In the time I have been spending with her I have lost weight, gained a better understanding of my nutrition needs, and muscle mass. Working with Marcia has been very rewarding.
Peter, my personal trainer, is a stand up person with a great personality. He is very flexible with scheduling. He is also educated in dealing with clients with injury and medical issues. Besides his experience as a trainer, Peter has a background education in the health sciences and has worked as a PHysical Therapy assistant. Peter helped me get out of my cancer treatment slump and trained me with an injured shoulder. Over four months I lost 14 pounds and gained back the energy and strength I lost during chemo and radiation therapy. I am back in shape again and have Peter to thank for this. I come to his home to train where he has a very well equipt gym but he will also come to you to train you. He travels from eastern Long Island to queens. I am very pleased with my results so far and I really like Peter as a person. GO FOR IT!!!

Evis has been my personal trainer for 4 months now and I have seen results in that time. His easy going and has a friendly personality that creates relaxed comfortable atmosphere. He makes each workout different, challenging and most importantly, fun! I've learned a lot on kick boxing specially on how to kick properly, the different types of punches and how to block punches and kicks. He knows just how and when to encourage and when to push. There are many factors to consider when choosing a personal trainer. Will they understand my goals? Will they truly want to help me or am I another face at their job? Are they really going to listen to me? I will admit that when I chose Lisa as my personal trainer, it was mainly because I thought to myself "THAT'S who I want to look like". I have always believed that you have to "walk the walk" so to speak...meaning, Lisa works herself harder than she works her clients. That was my (perhaps shallow, but truthful) reason for choosing her. My reasons for carrying on and knowing I made a GREAT choice were many. - Lisa took the time to listen and understand my limitations, and always had ways to adjust my exercises and workouts to specifically fit what I needed, and still be challenging. - RESULTS. I chose short sessions, but whether we saw each other weekly or bi weekly, I SAW results and felt great. - Lisa cares about her clients well being fully, which goes beyond workouts. Her knowledge of health, food, nutrition and general well being was so impressive, and I learned so much from her. I have nothing but positive experiences and have become healthier and wiser thanks to Lisa, I could not recommend her enough! -Linda
Gil is excellent and although willing to adapt the workout to what you want, it is always an intense workout, which I love. I didn't like the previous gym he was at but stayed only because of his personal training. I just joined the new gym that he works at and am glad he changed because he picked a gym that I really. But I joined mainly to be able to continue training with Gil. He recently introduced his partner Trini to the programme and she is also a very versatile trainer who knows her stuff and gives intense workouts. I highly recommend both of them and together they are a powerhouse team. I also appreciate that they both go beyond the exercise classes to take a personal interest in nutrition and give advise.
Brenda is an excellent personal trainer and the best personal trainer I have ever had. She is knowledgeable and flexible to individual clients’ needs. Brenda has adjusted routines throughout my pregnancy, surgical recovery, various orthopedic injuries (wrist tendinitis, ankle sprain, knee strain, back pain) and keeps our sessions new and fresh even after more than 4 years together. Training with Brenda always challenges me and pushes me passed where I would go myself and in a safe and effective way. I appreciate her willingness to come train almost any day or time. Initial consult went wonderfully well, had a chance to watch her work with someone else and then we discussed my needs and I was very satified with the plan going forward. She's very personable and easy talk to and I found that to be a major plus. Will start actual personal training in a few weeks.
Portia is very good and really passionate at what she does…Me and my husband both train with her. After our initial consultation we knew that we were in very good hands. She is very knowledgeable and adds a lot of fun to all the workouts and the 60 minutes with her just fly by. She is one of the best personal trainer we have come across. She pays attention to every minute detail, listens to every concern we have, there is extra focus on centering the workouts with keeping our weaknesses w.r.t injuries or any niggles in constant check. Three months ago, I contacted the local personal trainer community via Thumbtack with a loosely formed goal of achieving ... vanity. I am your usual customer wishing to "tone down". What I achieved in my three months with Mike is much more measurable. One exercise I was never able to achieve was running. While I had the interest, my endurance failed me. Since joining h.o.w., I can easily run over 2+ miles, which may not sound like much, but starting from zero to an easy 2 mile sprint is an achievement. I am now training toward a one leg squat. Try it, I dare you!

There are trainers and there are TRAINERS. Stefan at Discipline Training Studio is a true TRAINER. I don't know of another trainer that takes such a personal interest in determining the right program for each client. The ability of each person is different, so maximizing their performance is Stefan specialty. When I started with his program, Stefan told me he was going to give me back my youth, now 8 years later and 70 years old, no truer words were ever spoken. It's never to late to start.
