At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.
I was extremely impressed with Natalyas sensitive yet demanding style of teaching. Having never taken Yoga classes before, I was unsure what to expect or how to judge her aptitude as an instructor. I decided to let time and my body determine for me. Classes started out very slowly, and although they became gradually more challenging, Natalyia remained sensitive to my bodys limitations till the end. Now, having taken ten classes with her, I feel that I can join a group session anywhere knowing that I have acquired the necessary tools to confidently follow my teachers instructions. I recommend Natalyia whole-heartedly and will dearly miss her as well as her classes.
As a beginner student I am very intimidated in a group class, so i decided to do some private yoga lessons with Alison so I could keep up in a group setting. Alison is wonderful. She works with my limitations but isnt shy in pushing me to do more. She truly loves what she does and wants to help you be better.
Meredith was professional, fun, and listened to exactly what my needs were for our class. I booked her for my sister's bachelorette party. It was a mix of beginners and intermediates and Meredith's class was great for all levels. She had a great sense of humor and she tailored the music to our specifications. It was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a private yoga class.
Since I started practicing yoga in November 2014, I have been attending Michelle Ingkavet Cavanagh's classes regularly. Michelle is an outstanding yoga instructor in every sense of the word. She is a gifted yoga instructor and her classes are always challenging which is exactly what I want in my practice. Michelle always pays great attention to detail and takes great care in offering assistance to students when they need it. I have taken classes with many good yoga instructors but Michelle has a very unique ability to flow seamlessly through vinyasa yoga poses in her classes as if they are second nature to her. Michelle's students have great confidence in her abilities and trust her implicitly. She has a great sense of humor and her manner is such that she makes students feel at ease while in class. She is always quick to assure us that we are capable of achieving great things inside the studio as well as outside if we maintain the right mindset. There is a reason why attendance for Michelle's classes is always excellent. She has helped me tremendously with my practice and I have achieved new heights that I never thought were possible. Michelle is a great yoga instructor but most of all she is a wonderful woman and a great inspiration to everyone! John B.
Sarah is amazing! I've had many Yoga Instructors since hurting my back and she is the best I've worked with. She goes above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. She knows a lot about yoga and strength training and is always willing to go into details on how and why we are doing a particular exercise. She's also a PT Aide among being a Yoga Instructor and I think the combo of the two works a lot in her and my favor. My body has never felt so good and I've never felt so healthy!!
If one person has been put on this earth to use their skills and knowledge of yoga to better the lives of others, it is Danny. Compassionate, patient, and insightful, Danny has not only helped me with a number of specific injuries and discomforts, but also introduced me to how yoga technique and practice can fit into and improve any lifestyle -- even for busy, results-oriented (Type A) people like myself who previously believed cardio was the be-all, end-all of health and fitness. Along with seeking straightforward yoga instruction, I've also come to Danny with lower back pain, a mysterious sprain/spasming at the top of my leg from cycling (quickly diagnosed as a pulled sartorius muscle, for which Danny knew a number of pain-relieving stretches and poses), and general tightness in my neck and shoulders. When I meet with Danny, I know that I'm going to be listened to, thoughtfully instructed, and generally well cared-for. I've also taken one of his group yoga classes, in which he is just as attentive and present. As a teacher, Danny manages to instruct, calm, and heal simultaneously. I can't recommend him highly enough for anyone looking for an introduction to or a deepening of yogic practice.
Aari is an excellent yoga instructor! Aari introduced me to yoga years ago in a small private group setting...we were all new to yoga, and she was very articulate in explaining both the physical aspects of yoga (poses) as well as the body/mind connection and benefits. With her good humor, patience and gentle hands-on corrections, we became hooked on the "Aari Method" of yoga. I cannot thank her enough for opening my eyes to what has become such an important part of my life. I highly recommend Aari if you are looking for a yoga instructor with heart, soul and compassion!

After my yoga instructor moved to Florida, I needed to find another one & fast. I searched Thumbtack until I found Dani. Her hours worked with my schedule so I decided to give her class a try. I was hesitant to join a group class at first but I decided to give it a try. It was warm weather season when I started and we met out in her backyard. There was enough room for everyone. She offered water infused with berries or lemon which added a nice touch to the warm spring evening. Practicing yoga with Dani while the sun was setting was amazing. It really started to quiet my mind & brought me to a place of calm that I immediately signed up for 6 more classes. In the fall & winter, class was held in her home, which is just as inviting as her backyard. I call it the "sanctuary." I feel so calm at her there. I have really learned to tune out everything even my "monkey mind." Dani not only teaches Hatha & Vinyasa Flow with a little bit of Pilates here and there, but she also has been teaching us the philosophy of yoga and mindfulness. It really sets the mood for class. She can teach beginners to advanced. I was very impressed with some of her more advanced poses & only hope 1 day I can be as good as her. She demonstrates every pose and helps us with ours as needed. Thanks to Dani and her ever expanding yoga schedule I have been able to get to more classes, gain more confidence within my poses & focus more. I always leave feeling strengthened, encouraged and grateful. Thank You!
