I was extremely impressed with Natalyas sensitive yet demanding style of teaching. Having never taken Yoga classes before, I was unsure what to expect or how to judge her aptitude as an instructor. I decided to let time and my body determine for me. Classes started out very slowly, and although they became gradually more challenging, Natalyia remained sensitive to my bodys limitations till the end. Now, having taken ten classes with her, I feel that I can join a group session anywhere knowing that I have acquired the necessary tools to confidently follow my teachers instructions. I recommend Natalyia whole-heartedly and will dearly miss her as well as her classes.
I had the pleasure of taking a private yoga lesson with Jennifer. She's an amazing teacher. I was very impressed by her experience and knowledge about yoga. She made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.
Beautiful serene studio and expert yoga instruction. One on one is only way to go and Kelly knows how to develop an individual pace and progression based on fitness level. My strength and flexibility increased dramatically.
Meredith was professional, fun, and listened to exactly what my needs were for our class. I booked her for my sister's bachelorette party. It was a mix of beginners and intermediates and Meredith's class was great for all levels. She had a great sense of humor and she tailored the music to our specifications. It was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a private yoga class.
If one person has been put on this earth to use their skills and knowledge of yoga to better the lives of others, it is Danny. Compassionate, patient, and insightful, Danny has not only helped me with a number of specific injuries and discomforts, but also introduced me to how yoga technique and practice can fit into and improve any lifestyle -- even for busy, results-oriented (Type A) people like myself who previously believed cardio was the be-all, end-all of health and fitness. Along with seeking straightforward yoga instruction, I've also come to Danny with lower back pain, a mysterious sprain/spasming at the top of my leg from cycling (quickly diagnosed as a pulled sartorius muscle, for which Danny knew a number of pain-relieving stretches and poses), and general tightness in my neck and shoulders. When I meet with Danny, I know that I'm going to be listened to, thoughtfully instructed, and generally well cared-for. I've also taken one of his group yoga classes, in which he is just as attentive and present. As a teacher, Danny manages to instruct, calm, and heal simultaneously. I can't recommend him highly enough for anyone looking for an introduction to or a deepening of yogic practice.
Being new to yoga, I was looking for the right yoga instructor who could help me reach peaceful sustainability, teach me health maintenance, advanced meditation techniques as well as teach me the basic yoga exercises/movements. A wealth of knowledge and training along with the personal attention to my ability, past medical history and future goals is very important to me. I attended several classes at my local gym an was not at all impressed with the instructors, class size, atmosphere and lack of education on the yoga principals/history. I came across Brian on Thumbtack while looking into private instructors in my area. I was immediately impressed with his training in yoga, physical fitness and nutrition. His certifications surpassed all other trainers in the area. So I decided to give him a try. I have had several private and group sessions to date and will enthusiastically continue to practice with Brian. Upon arrival I notice that his studio was pristine and welcoming. His use of aromatherapy as well as herbal teas creates a wonderful scent and a feeling of calm. Brian provided me with a private session to get to know me as a person, my health history, my future goals and introduced me to him and the history and variations of yoga practice. This was a wonderful session and he has since tailored my on-going personal an group sessions based on the information he obtained. Brian's classes are small and personal. Brian: - speaks clearly and his instruction is well-timed with the music and movements -the music is played at a safe speed and is appropriate for the group and atmosphere -Brian exhibits strong movements and posture and demonstrates them properly to the group and offers alternatives for newcomers -all movements are safe and he offers adequate safety tips - motivation and interaction: Brian is incredibly motivated and makes eye contact with participants as well as assist with poses - has an energetic an peaceful environment - Brian's classes have all the expected components; including an adequate warm-up, cool-down and stretch. Meditation is a big part of the classes and personal sessions. I always start and end up feeling completely relaxed and at peace I highly recommend Brian to novice-advanced yoga students. He is highly skilled and very true to his beliefs. Susan Zekala

I love Bre's yoga classes! She effortlessly aligns her personal experiences with yogic philosophy, and then uses this as a theme for each class. She challenges students to consider these themes in our own lives, and with the use of color, offers an opportunity for creative visualization throughout the practice. Bre's sequences are creative and inspiring, and offer a perfect combination of effort and ease, no matter where each student is on the path of yoga. I have been practicing yoga for many years and have attended countless classes led by a wide variety of teachers. Bre is among the best!
Jessica is an experienced yoga instructor who is an amazing instructor for both advanced and beginner Yogi's. I have taken many of her hot vinyassa power classes every class is an amazing experience. Jessica offers modifications and offers adjustments throughout the class Jessica is always willing to help all Yogi's in and out of her class with any questions or concerns they may have.
Hollie is an excellent yoga instructor. She is very knowledgeable about yoga and extremely caring. Her classes are always different and motivational. She gets to know her students and their practice. You will always learn something new from Hollie no matter how long you practice with her. She welcomes her students with a warm smile. She is a wonderful person to practice with and a lot of fun. You always walk away feeling as though you worked your edge and your spirit enlightened.
My experience with Renee as a yoga fitness instructor has been incredible! She is very technical in her approach but offers an openness and ease that encourages me to feel safe while pushing my limits. She is wonderful at customizing our sessions based on the needs of my body and I love the spiritual elements of chanting and meditation that really help me focus and vibrate at a higher level while taking on a non conventional lifestyle. As a beginner student I am very intimidated in a group class, so i decided to do some private yoga lessons with Alison so I could keep up in a group setting. Alison is wonderful. She works with my limitations but isnt shy in pushing me to do more. She truly loves what she does and wants to help you be better.
Since I started practicing yoga in November 2014, I have been attending Michelle Ingkavet Cavanagh's classes regularly. Michelle is an outstanding yoga instructor in every sense of the word. She is a gifted yoga instructor and her classes are always challenging which is exactly what I want in my practice. Michelle always pays great attention to detail and takes great care in offering assistance to students when they need it. I have taken classes with many good yoga instructors but Michelle has a very unique ability to flow seamlessly through vinyasa yoga poses in her classes as if they are second nature to her. Michelle's students have great confidence in her abilities and trust her implicitly. She has a great sense of humor and her manner is such that she makes students feel at ease while in class. She is always quick to assure us that we are capable of achieving great things inside the studio as well as outside if we maintain the right mindset. There is a reason why attendance for Michelle's classes is always excellent. She has helped me tremendously with my practice and I have achieved new heights that I never thought were possible.
