Gil is a great trainer! He has years of experience and knows how to push his clients to become better. With the time I've spent with him I've definitely saw improvement. The only thing I think can improve is teaching more about technique in his class and I'd like to work more on grappling and BJJ. Other than that Gil is an excellent trainer.
BJ is an outstanding trainer as evidenced by his knowledge regarding nutrition and health as well as his energetic and motivating attitude. He gave individualized attention even when working with a group of people. He is friendly and approachable. BJ is an inspiring individual!

Gary has been my group class coach for many years. He always sets up new and varied stations, explains them well, and trains all the major muscle groups in each session. Gary is extremely well versed in technique, execution, and modifications. Gary encourages my best efforts without yelling or bullying - but with a great sense of humor. Gary is intelligent and practical when he explains nutrition - he is looking for long term life changes, not fads. Gary is professional, reliable, and I am happy to say, a friend.
I met Michael when I became a member at Title Boxing in Milford. After taking a few of his kickboxing classes and hearing that he was one of the top 3 trainers at the gym I decided to try private training with him to gain muscle and lose fat. Before starting our sessions, he shared his personal weight loss journey and showed me a few "before" and "after" pictures. i was beyond impressed at his dedication to going to the gym every day for hours and how quickly he was able to drop 100 pounds and even more amazed that he didn't hire help but instead chose to learn about eating clean and taking care of the body on his own. After our first rigorous but fun session (although excited I was SO NOT READY for all the cardio and exercises with new equipment I had never used before...felt like death) I felt rejuvenated and ready to take on more! Over the next few months I continued with sessions twice a week until my training package expired with the club. To continue taking private sessions at a cheaper rate, I decided to end my membership seeing as it was no longer needed since I can still do boxing with michael outside Title. Beyond happy with my progress so far and will probably continue to train with Michael for another year or so until I get the hang of it on my own.
I have been a student of the martial arts for 15 years, primarily in Kempo and Aikido, though I've dabbled in other styles. Dr. Pearlman has researched and studied classical styles to teach modern self defense. His classes have opened my eyes and my mind to a deeper understanding of the martial arts. Besides learning new techniques and applications, my performance in the other styles I practice have also improved. Dr. Pearlman's style is holistic, in the sense that it covers a wide range while keeping everything integrated. Strikes, kicks, locks, trapping and ground techniques are all covered. The focus is on self-defense, not fighting. Classes are relaxed but intense, great for beginners and experienced practitioners. I cannot recommend Praxis Martial Arts enough. Come down and see it for yourself.
