Latest Review: So February 9th, I weighed-in at a doctor’s appointment to the tune or 298 lbs. In my mind all I could think was I am a cheeseburger away from 300 lbs. In my battle with weight, I vowed that I would never weigh over 300 lbs. So this day was an eye opener for me. That day I was determined that I need to make a difference in my life. So I started changing my eating habits and started looking for a gym.. So I decided to get a personal trainer/coach. A gentlemen stated that he knew the perfect person to pair me up with. As I was leaving he pointed out Mr. Dimitrius Drye. In the mind I said, “Oh Hell No!!!” Mr. Drye was in training mode with a client and what she was doing was unbelievable. Something I knew I wouldn’t and couldn’t do. He looked up at me and said, “You’re going to be doing these too!” I told him I didn’t like him already.
Saturday, February 27th was my initial assessment with Mr. Drye. I thought he was the trainer from hell. Once I made it through the assessment, I knew I could do anything. He gave me a meal plan that I thought was absurd. At the end of my 3 months of 1:1 coaching with Mr. Drye and adhering to his meal plan, I weighed 266 lbs with a loss of 29. After I saw this change, I signed up again with Mr. Drye and to this day I have lost a total of 65 lbs bringing me to a weight of 225 lbs in 7 months ..Never in a million years did I think I could be where I am now especially after numerous failed attempts. The best decision I ever made was working with Mr. Drye. He is an AMAZING coach. He pushes you to work harder even when you think your body can’t do it nor will he let you quit. He encourages you and explains what area of the body and what muscle each exercise works. Mr. Drye knows exactly what exercises to have you do to get the desired body shape you are looking for. For me I needed someone who was going to be relentless and be a drill sergeant. I found that in him.
In this journey, I learned that this has been more mental than physical. Why? My body can do anything, but my mind didn’t think so. I had to make up in my mind that I had no choice. It was either do or die for me. Mr. Drye made this experience enjoyable and not dreadful. In fact, because of him I can now say I love working out and I look forward to reaching my goal. Thank you, Mr. Dimitrius Drye, for helping me to change my life one day, one weight, and one exercise at a time.
