Nick's guy Ron was great! They worked with our budget and really got the crowd going. I would definitely hire him again. He had any song we wanted! Thanks guys.
Absolutely perfect—that sums up our experience with Scott. We hired Scott to entertain our 40 guests at our annual holiday party in our home in Tribeca, and his skills, background and music blew away the other vendors who submitted quotes. Not only is he a wonderfully talented pianist, he is a composer, arranger and teacher. As such, he brings unparalleled skills in creating the perfect musical backdrop to any function…and our holiday soiree was no exception. Warm and welcoming in person and via email, he is professional, pleasant and aims to please. My wife & I asked Scott to prepare a set list filled with sounds of the season—and Scott prepared and performed an endless array of wonderful holiday classics infused with touches of jazz…providing the ideal mood for conversation, laughter and enjoyment. We will most certainly be booking Scott again for our private and corporate events moving forward, and strongly urge anyone looking for a fantastically talented pianist to hire him for any type of gathering, large or small.
I started singing lessons with Chelsea about one month ago. Though I have a passion for music and singing, I have always been shy and nervous to sing in front of others. Chelsea has already made me feel more confident in my voice! Chelsea is so talented and incredibly professional. She listens to what my strengths are and enhances them, as well as grasps my weaknesses and works with me to make them stronger. I also appreciate how Chelsea’s lessons don’t just stop once you leave her studio. Chelsea writes “homework” to take with you, only further encouraging you to work on what was practiced in class. It is SO helpful! I am so happy I started lessons with Chelsea!
Ivan was fantastic. Responsive, professional, and amazing talent to perform the songs you want. He even let us borrow a mic for the ceremony!
Amazing teacher with a vast knowledge of jazz music. Highly recommended
Gary is FABULOUS! He is patient and kind, and really quite funny! Best of all, Gary can cultivate a child's natural talent for music. One of the many awesome skills Gary has is the ability to group children together to form bands. He puts bands together where the children bring out each other's musical strengths. These kids have ended up forming friendships and bonds that are long lasting. Even a shy child feels comfortable performing, after Gary's encouragement and tutelage. My oldest child, now in college, attributes his love for music to Gary. We cannot say enough positive things about Gary and encourage everyone to bring their children to Gary for music lessons.
Kino is phenomenal! She is knowledgeable, patient, experienced, and extremely kind! I love having her as my teacher and can't wait for all future sessions!
We had a low turn out due to the weather, but the music made it all better! We absolutely made the best decision choosing this band! They are professional, full of personality and extremely talented! The first of many events to come!

I have worked with Lisa Ratner of Traxfast Music LLC on several projects including recording, publishing, presentation, performing and event planning. In all cases she was a total professional: hard working, dedicated and very knowledgeable. She is a pleasure to work with and worthy of trust and respect. - Aaron Minsky, President, Von Cello, Inc.
Drew arrived early to set everything up and played beautiful music at our wedding ceremony. It’s exactly everything we wanted. Thanks !
I hired Bassoon in the Wild Band for my wedding. The music was great especially the bassoon playing in the background, it is definitely one of a kind. Highly recommended
Maia did an amazing job for both our wedding ceremony and reception party. We had a small intimate wedding in North Shore are of Long Island. She was extremely responsive working with us prior to the wedding to discuss the ceremony music selection, including the songs for us walking down the aisle (harbor dockside wedding ceremony) and our first song as we left. She has a great presence about her, great voice, and talented musician. We couldn't have asked for a better performance. She didn't feel like she was performing, she really made it feel special and appropriate. Highly recommend her for any event, extremely professional and high quality. Thank you Maia, you really were great. My family really appreciated the tone you set with the music you played the entire time. Sophie and I couldn't be more thankful, it was perfect!
Elegant and sophisticated music! The band was very professional and kind. I would definitely call them again!
Wendy was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had the tough job of finding music for my mother's memorial celebration. It was such an emotional time having just lost my mother so working with someone as seamless and effortless as Wendy was just amazing. It was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing Wendy had experience with memorials and was just an absolute pro. She responded within the hour to any questions, the contract was simple to execute, she was prompt and very self sufficient at the event itself. And that doesn't even cover the beautiful effect her music had on the event. It was just lovely. Wendy was a star!
Dan played the perfect mix of music for our wedding in December 2015. We had him perform before the ceremony when the guests arrived and for our cocktail hour. Our affair was black tie, and Dan looked the part. We wanted a mix of classical music with more modern songs in a classic style and even a few video game songs performed classically (like some Zelda music). Everything we asked of Dan was performed to perfection. To this day (8 months later) one of the most mentioned parts of our wedding is Dan's piano. He helped transform our cocktail hour into an even more sophisticated, yet fun environment, which was exactly what we asked of him. I am sure he would be capable of performing at any level and with any set of asks. His flexibility in repertoire with his musical ability is outstanding.
Chris is a great music teacher and his rates are affordable. My nine year old really likes him and looks forward to the lessons.
Matt has knowledge of, and an appreciation for ALL types of music. Of course this is difficult because he attended Stony Brook in the 60's and was exposed to the very best of Rock music. But he transcended that period, kept his high regards for Dylan and Jimi, and continued to grow as a musician and person. I've seem him at several jobs, and he reads the audience very well and makes the event a happy occasion for all.
Helene was my piano teacher from kindergarten through high school. She taught me how to read, understand, play and love music. Furthermore, my early -and in-depth- start with piano prepared me for years of trumpet in various advanced bands. Although I am not currently taking lessons, I still sit down to play piano whenever I get the chance. I'll play anything from Bach to Beethoven to Josh Groban to new and classic Disney - really anything I'm in the mood for. Helene's teaching has made me proficient enough in piano and music in general such that I can truly enjoy playing. Thanks Helene!!
WHAT A TERRIFIC TEACHER. Sometimes, educators who have been teaching for a while forget what it's like to be the "learner" and can in turn be condescending, impatient, and unwilling to simplify difficult concepts for their students. JOE, on the other hand, was PROFESSIONAL, PATIENT, and PLEASANT. When explaining certain musical concepts to me, he explained it in my language. He encouraged me to ask as many questions as i could come up with; no question was off limits. He tailored the music lesson to my skill set, and even provided study material for me to work with in between our one-on-one lessons. I am excited again about playing piano and learning how to read music!!!!
I worked with Lonnie for ten years, from when i began my studies in jazz piano at age 11 until I went to college at Berklee School of Music in Boston. We worked in all the different aspects of music, from jazz improvisation and interpretation, to how to play with ensembles, as well as orchestrating and arranging. I always admired Lonnie's willingness to work with me on what i wanted to work on. As a young musician my creativity was pretty boundless and it was hard to get me to learn music in a conventional way. Lonnie showed me how important it was to listen to music in order to learn. I received the right amount of motivation and guidance from my lessons with Lonnie to propel me into a life of musical work, as i currently make a living as a freelance composer in Los Angeles. I owe a lot to my teachings as a young musician and I heartily recommend Lonnie's services as a music instructor. I can be reached at 310 729 3866 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
