My fiancé and I got as far as picking our wedding date before realizing we were going to need a lot of help with the planning and executing of our wedding. We had our hearts set on having our reception in a large beautiful building from 1802 that was not a wedding venue at all. It was simply an empty building making the whole process that much more complicated. Sarah Parlos came highly recommended from a co-worker who had recently used her services. I hired Sarah Parlos for her Day Of wedding coordination package as well as her Wedding Décor and Design Package. I originally spoke with her in June 2014 and from that day until the wedding (May 2015) she was always readily available whenever I had any questions or concerns. Sarah really listened to what I wanted the reception hall to look like and made my thoughts and dreams into a reality. Her sense of style and decorating skills are truly outstanding. She did things I wouldnt have even thought were possible. Whenever I had a concern she took the time to address it. She even started decorating the hall a few days early so my fiancé and I could look at a few design elements we were iffy about before the big day (of course we should have just trusted Sarah because everything was amazing). The amount of compliments I got on how beautiful the reception hall was, was overwhelming. As if making the building beautiful was not enough, Sarah also upheld her duties as the Day Of coordinator. From ushering people into the reception hall after cocktail hour to reminding my husband and I when it was time to cut the cake, she was on top of it. A month prior to the event she got all the vendors information and did all the final verifications! She handed out the vendor tips, made excel spreadsheets for the day of schedule and emailed everyone involved a copy, she touched base with the members in the wedding party, etc. The list really is endless. I had not one worry about anything the day of our wedding and Sarah Parlos played a huge role in that. I would highly recommend Sarah for anyone whos planning a large event and needs some help. Shes upbeat, easy to get along with, and seems to truly care about her clients and their needs.
Working with Bartenders Express at my company's summer outing was wonderful. John is friendly, professional, and has exellent communication and customer service. He was always available to speak on the phone and over email, and was flexible in customizing the order for my guests' preferences. He made great suggestions for the drinks and all guests had a great experience. I would absolutely recommend Bartenders Express for any corporate or social event.
Jessica and her team made a special family-hosted event even more special. It was all put together in under a week and she helped us to make it happen. I cannot say enough about how professional and personable and just plain wonderful they were from start to finish, and I mean from the first contact for pre-planning, for the actual event itself, and until the last moment of clean-up. I hired Platter Matters Catering for my 40th Birthday Party. Ivett did a phenomenal job planning the entire event! She took care of all the rentals and flower arrangements, too. Bernadett helped me create a custom menu(many allergies in the family). The staff was very friendly and professional. All of my guests raved about their food and service. Victoria and her team were such an important part of making our day perfect! I had no worries the day of my wedding because Victoria had my vision down to every last detail! We hired Vickie for the Baby Shower. Vickie did an amazing job decorating the event hall. My wife was excited after seeing the arrangements that Vickie made. She was thrilled and happy that the event was well panned and managed. All the guests were also impressed with the event (decoration and planning). It was one of the best days of our life. All the credit goes to Vickie for making this event a memorable one.
I feel like I could write a novel about how awesome it was to work with Tammie and the fam at Desert Vines Events. I'll just highlight some of my favorite things and give you a TL;DR - five stars---no, ten stars. Would hire again in a heartbeat, no need to look anywhere else. - Little creative details everywhere!! Hire Desert Vines if you want someone who can truly help you create a DIY wedding on a shoestring budget. I can only imagine what she could do with a full budget! - Tammie let me take the lead, even when I proposed some crazy ideas. She never shot them down, either... she'd just go through the logistics to make sure we'd thought of everything. I liked the way, when I would suggest something kinda weird, she would very gently tell me what she thought and suggest alternatives---but if I pressed on, she would step back and let me do my thing. That meant a lot to me. It was good to have someone keeping me grounded, but also who would step back and let me take risks if I wanted to. - Immediately after hiring her, Tammie quickly identified and addressed any tasks that I had overlooked or was dragging my feet on, and took care of them completely. Her doing this gave me the space to focus on my favorite parts of event planning, and allowed me to let go of some aspects that I cared less about. All the tasks she took over for me proceeded to run seamlessly at the event; I didn't have to think twice about them. - Tammie was endlessly patient and kind, even when I got stressed out. She always found a way to look on the bright side of things, which I find to be a great quality in a planner. - It was genuinely fun to brainstorm ideas with her. She's so creative and craftsy, we were able to do so much with relatively little... everything looked soo beautiful in the end. - Her crew was so sweet and friendly, and always on the lookout for ways they could help during the event. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Tammie and the Desert Vines crew. What a beautiful wedding we put together. <3 Highly recommend. Couldn't have done it without them.
Terry-Ann is an amazing and thoughtful designer. She created a centerpiece of my vision, not what she thought my vision should be. She understood what I wanted and went above and beyond. This was a corporate event for a fortune 100 company and her design was top notch and affordable.
Dana was the best thing I stumbled across while wedding planning. I had been frustrated with searching for florals before finding her, and I'm glad I waited until I did! Flowers were the most important part of the decor for me.. even the bridesmaid dresses were picked to match the flowers. She understood my vision exactly, and at the same time I didn't have to tell her every detail. She came to me with ideas and was genuinely excited about them. I would recommend her to anyone, and will to everyone. She was an extremely hard worker, and ENJOYED it. She worked with my budget, and came up with creative ways to make it still look like it cost a million dollars. And everything stayed beautiful the whole night - everything was wonderful quality. Roger was excellent. Our reception looked phenomenal. Roger was easy to work with, always honoring our wishes and making great suggestions. He also made a point of asking about how we were doing and how the rest of the planning was going and he shared his wealth of experience with us in areas outside of decorating. Without him, our wedding wouldn't have been half as good as it was.
Ericka was wonderful! She handled every issue that came up. My daughters Sweet Sixteen was wonderful! From the staff to the DJ. Everyone was great! Thank you Ericka! We highly recommend her for any event you are planning.

We recently celebrated our 50 th anniversary. Ciesco was an intrical part of the planning and the realization of our party. No detail was either too small or too large for them to handle. They designed the invitation, planned the menu and the food was fantastic! They helped make our day special and it all went off without a hitch. It was like make a party with your best friend . After many disappointing conversations with "would be" event planners and listening to them talk AT me rather than to ME... I came across SVN Events and gave them a call. It quickly became evident; after speaking with Steve, that I needed to search no further and I enlisted his services to help make my once childhood dream a reality. Working with Steve from SVN events was an extreme pleasure. He was super attentive to detail; big and small, refreshingly creative as well as resourceful, and extremely professional and responsive. I reached out to SVN Events to help oversee and coordinate my summer wedding...which entailed 300+ attendees, many years of visions and very vocal family members that; at times, were opinionated and aggressive. This proved to be no match for Steve and he was able to work with and relate to them all. He was dedicated to the process and delivered on all of the visions that I had always dreamed of. He took the time to explore and discuss all of my immediate needs and concerns and even gave me more attention than I think I deserved. Any "obstacle" or concerns I may have had at any point throughout the wedding planning was immediatly addressed and resolved by his professionalism and expertise. I dont think I realized just how much work Steve really did until I saw evidence in the photo and video footage and received countless compliments after the event from attendees. SVN events delivered above and beyond anything I had envisioned for my special day and without him I am certain the day would not have been as incredible as it truly was. Magical doesnt even begin to do it justice and two years later it is still being remarked about as the best wedding people have ever been to. I attribute much of that to Steve and SVN Events and am fortunate to have found them.
