My son has his confidence back thanks to Peter. My son did well in math through 5th grade. He did poorly each quarter in Math in 6th despite having adequate standardized test scores. Peter reviews Math in a positive and fun way. I am confident my son will do much better in 7th Grade. He is even hoping to advance to the next level. Thanks Peter.
Josh is a great tutor. He helped my daughter with math and SAT prep. Very reliable and highly recommended .
Good tutor! On time, professional and very knowledgeable. My daughter had her first tests this week showing real progress and said she felt like she actually understood for the first time in awhile and it was great to see her so happy and more confident!
Excellent test prep, college consulting, and personal essay help. My college acceptances and generous scholarship awards would not have been possible without all your help. Thank you!
Eve was an outstanding tutor for the ISEE. We hired her with just 6 weeks to go until the test - we had been using a New Haven-based tutoring company that just was not doing the job - in that very short period of time Eve managed to coach our daughter from the middle of the pack (ISEE steniles 4 and 5) toward the top (stiles 6 and 7). Plus she was very flexible about scheduling and was amenable to meeting our daughter in New Haven. We only wish we'd enlisted her sooner! We will definitely seek her assistance for our next set of test preps!
Beth has been an excellent fit for our 11th grader. As midterms approached last year, he was falling further and further behind in math. On the first test he took after one session with Beth he received a 92! She was very reliable, coming every week right on time. Our son seemed to enjoy the sessions, and by the end of the year, instead of groaning about homework he actually likes math now. His confidence has improved in every subject, and his grade in math is currently a B+, up from a D in the middle of last year. I would pay double her charge to be guaranteed the results she delivers.
Jer is an all around great tutor. The range of subjects he can help with is truly amazing. We hired him to help with standardized testing, AP Statistics and AP Calculus. He has a great demeanor, he is well prepared for lessons, and he is really able to explain concepts very well which is the key. I highly recommend him!
Theresa is a wonder tutor. She is both responsible and patient. She has helped my daughter with her comprehension and test results. I would strongly recommend her as a tutor.
My son's overall score increased by 4 points from a 28 to a 32 after John worked with him. He felt confident and very well prepared going into his ACT. The study and test taking skills he learned were are directly applicable to the test, and his pre-test checklist was an excellent planning aid. I highly recommend John to any student who's committed to successfully improving ACT performance. Caroline P. Westport,CT
I contacted Altea because I was studying for the GRE. I had not taken a math course in 24 years, and I had very little memory of Algebra and Geometry. Altea and I met within a week of our first contact, and we met weekly after that. She is wonderful tutor. Her knowledge and passion for math was just what I needed to get excited about an exam that scared me so much. She was always on time and was always prepared. Altea is kind and patient, and she has a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend Altea for help with coursework and/or test preparation.
T. Fields was great! My son decided last minute to take the June SAT after his May SAT score wasn’t what he had hoped. He had about 8 days to prep. Tristan responded right away & was willing to work with what we wanted. No set minimum of sessions, no sales pitch. My son met with him 3 times, and Tristan’s knowledge of the test was impressive! He has such insight, tips & targeted help- the one on one with Tristan honestly blew the other group prep classes away! My son took the SAT again & was confident he improved his score. He was able to use the strategy Tristan taught him, and felt prepared in the math section. We won’t get the scores until July 11.... But we are feeling hopeful! Stay tuned. Tristan was kind, polite, professional & again, his in depth knowledge of the SAT is invaluable. S.T in CT
Ken Cyprus was my math tutor from eighth grade to senior year of high school. While all other subjects came easily to me, math was a difficult subject for me, and it was holding me back from having the high GPA I could have. With Ken's tutoring, I was always the highest performing student in my math class and never worried about my GPA being impacted by math again. Throughout the years, certain math teaching styles wouldn't work for me, and I struggled with the material, but Ken never let me give up. He worked not only on my math aptitude but also my confidence and I became a more engaged math student. Ken would give me test problems, help me study, and create material catered to my specific weaknesses so that by the time a test came, I could do it on my own. He was also able to help me score higher than I ever thought I could on the SAT. Now, as I go into my senior year of Barnard College and am getting ready to graduate with both a degree from an Ivy League institution and that of an elite liberal arts college, I look back with immense gratitude for Ken. I couldn't have gotten here without him.

Linda has been such a wonderful teacher to my both of my daughters! She really helps them to understand their SAT studies and improve their scores. We are very thankful for Linda's help and highly recommend her tutoring services!!! Thanks Linda!!
I was a part of a small SAT prep group and one of the most helpful things that we did was work on problems together. Often SAT prep and the like are very solitary learning experiences but learning in a group setting made it much easier to understand
James tutored my daughter for the SAT as well as the SAT math level II subject test. He is very knowledgeable of the subject matter as well as of the necessary strategies to tackle these tests with positive outcomes. My daughter was very happy with his tutoring style and felt confident on test day.
Excellent. Linda is dedicated, knowledgable, very qualified. I will continue with Linda for all 4 of my children. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. Even checking in with students to wish them Luck and remind them to stay focused and practice. Excellent, I will recommend her highly.
Bill helped to unlock the puzzle of the SAT exam for my daughter. She learned so much in such a short time and felt confident both walking into the test and walking out. Thank you!
