I hired Chef Kwon to cater our wedding anniversary in our home as a surprise to my wife, which worked very well. When preparing for the event, Kwon asked what I wanted on the menu and I left it up to her to surprise us. She asked if we had allergies or food preferences, which I liked. She provided me with a menu for the dinner ahead of time, but changed it on the day of the event, based on what she thought we would like, which was a great twist. She brought the food with her to our house and used our kitchen to prepare it, which we had discussed beforehand. As she worked, she explained to us each dish and how it paired with the wine selection. We had a five course meal including dessert. Every dish and wine pairing built upon the previous and tasted excellent. Kwon also brought flowers and prepared the kitchen table for the dinner. I would (and have) strongly recommend her to anyone.

Kwon did an incredible job from the proposal to the food and finishing touches. We gave her a budget and she was very conscience and proposed a menu that was within budget. She was flexible on her menu and followed through with all aspects of the events, including decorations.
Kwon's food was absolutely delicious. The comments from the guests were all positive and there was ample for all to taste. Her butternut squash soup was excellent, along with the mushroom tartlets.
Kwon's staff was equally great. They were respectful and courteous to all. There were no empty glasses sitting around, nor did we have to wait for items to be replenished. Excellent job.
Overall, this event was a success due to Kwon's capabilities, her amazing food, staff, attention to detail and her promptness. She was timely from the beginning of the process to the end. Kwon and her staff were in place and ready for guests to arrive well before the event began.
I have no negative comments regarding my experience with Kwon or her staff. Wonderful food and service.

My husband surprised me with a gourmet dinner prepared by Chef Kwon for our anniversary. From the moment I came home and saw her standing in our kitchen to the moment she left, the experience was purely delightful. She prepared five delicious courses based on suggestions from my hubby, but taken to the next level by her experience and creativity. For example, hubby wanted a pasta course, and Chef Kwon created a rich, creamy ravioli with duck and chicken liver mousse inside. Completely amazing!
In addition to preparing a great meal, Chef Kwon also entertained us by telling us the thought process behind each course and its wine pairing. As an avid home cook, it was extremely enlightening to hear how a professional puts together a complex, multi-course meal and to get a glimpse into the knowledge necessary to choose a wine for each of those courses.
Overall, the experience was excellent, and Chef Kwon's food and company far exceeded whatever restaurant I thought hubby was going to take me to that night! I'm so glad Chef Kwon helped make our anniversary a very special one.
