I had this old, awful basement and decided to turn it into a rental space. I didn’t know much about the process, but as I looked into it, I realized I’d need to add a bathroom, build out rooms, and make sure the ceiling height was right. Luckily, I found Hygge Renovations. Initially, I didn’t plan on adding a kitchen at first because I was trying to save money, but when I talked to them, they were really professional and walked me through everything. They handled the permits, the digging, and came up with smart ideas. They even showed me how I could get a full kitchen with proper ventilation instead of just a small kitchenette.Now, the basement doesn’t feel like a basement anymore—it’s like a whole new apartment with a living room, bedroom, real kitchen, and beautiful finishes. I couldn’t be happier with the results. These guys really know their stuff.

Our old windows were super drafty, with cold air coming through the gaps, so we thought about buying Andersen windows from Home Depot and just needed someone to install them. That’s how we found Hygge Renovations. But after getting the estimate for the Andersen windows, the price was way too high, so we started looking around for other options. That’s when we found out that Hygge Renovations didn’t just do installations—they actually sell windows, too. And not just any windows, but really high-quality ones from Europe.
We liked the look of them, and the price was much better than the Andersen ones. The reviews were good, so we decided to give it a try—and honestly, we’re so glad we did. The windows are energy-efficient, look great, and the quality is top-notch. We replaced 9 windows, and now our house feels warmer, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Definitely a great decision.
