FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The free virtual consultation is a session designed to provide real value, whether or not you decide to continue. Once you decide to continue working together, you set the frequency (weekly, bi-monthly, monthly) and determine for how many remote sessions you would like to sign on to start. I recommend no fewer than 4 sessions to start and past clients have been able to achieve their targeted inner-outer goals in this time!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my coaching certification from the Certified Life Coach Institute. I have additional training as a facilitator and in mental health first aid. I am a certified yoga teacher and have been coaching since 2016.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in coaching and therapeutic work through the arts. I have served as program director for arts-in-education programs, primarily in New York City and Boston and have coached and mentored staff teams. In the education sector, more than 70% of public school students in the U.S. have suffered adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and I have a background working to engage young people and adults in the inherently therapeutic process of arts education. I completed a healing arts fellowship at Tewksbury Hospital, a residential facility providing care and support to adults living with medical and/or mental illness. When I started my coaching and consulting practice in 2016, I started combining coaching to fulfill external achievement goals with inner wellness. From my own background, I know how essential it is to feel good as a foundation for doing bigger things in your life and work!
