They helped me replace the casters on my piano at no additional charge, and even helped move things in my apartment to make room for the piano. Despite giving them only 2 days notice, Piano Local moved an upright piano from one house to another exactly on time and did it quickly and seamlessly. Van and his brothers moved my baby grand today from my house in Washington, DC to my daughter's house in Perry Hall, MD. I was impressed with the care they took to take the piano's legs off, wrap it in thick padding, get it onto a dolly and wheel it out to their truck. In addition, they are very pleasant young men. My daughter reported equal satisfaction on their moving it into her house. I would certainly recommend Lewis Piano Movers to anyone who wants a careful, safe and positive experience moving their piano.

Lewis Piano movers did an excellent job moving an antique spinnet piano from a friend's house to my house. It was a short trip but they were on time, courteous, SUPER careful, fast and thorough. Later that day, when one of the peddles stopped working because a brass rod was loose, I contacted Van and he and his brothers (a family business!) came back the next morning to tighten the brass rod. I was thrilled to find Lewis Piano Movers on Thumbtack and wholeheartedly recommend them.

Lewis Piano Movers provided the most competitive quote. They call the day before the move to schedule a 2-hour window and then I was told I would get a 30 minute warning call day of. They were running ahead of schedule on the day of the move but called to give me a heads up that they were on their way (about 30 minutes early). Very impressed with their work and they took great care of an antique piano.
