Guarav Singh of Going Yogue is a phenomenal yoga instructor. I started practicing yoga regularly in 2003 and got certified to teach in 2004. Guarav is one of the best yoga instructors I've had. He does an excellent job of integrating the breathe into yoga postures and emphasizes only going as far as the breath and body allow. The practice was invigorating and rejuvenating with modifications based on my limitations. I am excited to continue learning from and deepening my yoga practice with Guarav.
Delightful yoga studio. Delightful instructor. I was curious about yoga, but did not know how to get started. I asked her to do a beginners session in my home with my family for fun. Everyone enjoyed it. I then became an early Sunday morning regular at her study. 2 years later, my flexibility, strength and balance have reached a great state--one that I could not have imagined just a while back.
My private yoga sessions with Olga helped address some pain issues I was having. She reviewed my yoga poses and showed me how to do them properly and gave me different poses to work on at home in order to stretch the various parts of my body. These private sessions allowed me to continue playing tennis and made me aware of how to make my yoga practice better.
Jordan is a great yoga instructor! I love her creativity, her strong knowledge of traditional yoga and her light hearted approach. She can be challenging, but also nurturing. A lovely Teacher and person.
Gretchen is my yoga instructor who comes to the house. She comes once a week for an hour, and the sessions are on-going. I engaged Gretchen when my sciatica was at its worst, and I couldn't put on my socks. She has helped amazingly well with increasing my mobility. The best aspect is her flexibilty in schedule and knowledge to tailor the session to my current health situation. I cannot think of anything Gretch could improve. She already provides the yoga equipment I don't have and already is knowledgable how yoga can help (or willing to research if she does not know). I considert Gretchen to be an excellent teacher and an excellent resource for anyone who wants or needs at home yoga instruction.
Hillary is an excellent teacher! She is effusive, qualified and fun. She manages to put planks in perspective with personal anecdotes and genuine humor. Her style is a hybrid of barre, yoga, and Pilates. Class is always interesting and HARD. A million thumbs up!
Welcome to your Wellness has an excellent atmosphere. As a beginner you will not feel intimidated at all. The instructor is very friendly has a very nourishing attitude. This evening I took Natasha's yoga class at LaFitness. This was my first time in her class of which I was impressed. She knew her moves and poses and gave good instruction. Will be attending her class.
Nicole is amazing. Her credentials say she is a certified fitness trainer and yoga instructor, and she is every bit of that. She is a master of her crafts. But she is way more. She is a coach, confidant, motivator, and most of all, a gifted healer. As a physician, I know a healer when I encounter one. I feel so blessed to have invited Nicole to help me with my journey. After just a few weeks of being tortured by Nicole (nobody says health and fitness are easy) I am in my best shape in years. If I learn some of her amazing communication and motivational skills, she may make me a better doctor as well.
Mariela is a very skilled yoga teacher for children. She sets a positive tone for the class, introduces new poses and concepts in a very child-friendly way, and is very organized. She would be a great teacher for any child or family yoga class!

I met Gretchen when I was starting my second trimester with a twin pregnancy this past spring. My husband thought private pre-natal yoga sessions would be a perfect way to keep me healthy throughout my pregnancy. Gretchen was amazing to work with! She was friendly, energetic, and had a calming nature. I expected to take 1 session a week with her, but decided to engage in two weekly sessions. I honestly believe that Gretchen is the reason my pregnancy and delivery went so well. After my C-section the doctors told me they had never met a twin mom that was so flexible right after delivery. Gretchen is the reason for that. She not only taught me yoga, she provided mini-massages to help relax my pregnancy aches. She checked in on me regularly if we didn't meet, and she was willing to work with my schedule. She brought the music, equipment, and even recommended better mats to help my practice. I would recommend her to anyone looking for yoga instruction. I will soon be starting post-natal services with her!
