We had originally planned to have an officiant friend marry us in Washington, D.C. We applied online for a marriage license with the DC court but despite it saying it would take 10 days, after 4 MONTHS of repeated emails and calls to the DC court, we still did not have our marriage license. In a desperate attempt to get help we found DCElopements.com and the owner, Laura, told us about Onlinemarriage.com. Online Marriage helped us to get a license from another US state where online marriage is legal. We worked with Nicole (who was amazing!). She walked us through the entire process and we were able to get our license online, get married on Zoom, and we received our digital certified marriage license THE SAME DAY! A paper copy arrived in the mail 5 days later. Once we were legally married, our friend performed the ceremony we had originally planned. Initially, I was nervous because it honestly sounded too good to be true, especially after what we had experienced with the DC Court, but it was legit! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$499 includes your remote marriage officiant and your digital certified copy of your marriage license and one paper copy of your certified marriage license by mail. *There is an additional fee for your marriage license, $75 in the US and $145 if outside of the US. *You must have two witnesses over the age of 18 join your online marriage appointment. If you do not have two witnesses we can provide them for you for an additional $40. *If you need an apostille stamp for registering your marriage in a foreign country we can help, but there is an additional cost for this which depends on the country it is being certified and shipped to.
