When I had some water in the basement of my building in the summer of 2016, I got several estimates, including from Adam Basement. The estimator from Adam Basement seemed extremely knowledgeable and the price was reasonable so I went with them. I liked that they didn't nickel and dime me -- while other estimates did not include moving stuff out of the way for their work Adam's estimate included that. They explained everything very thoroughly before starting so I could minimize any disruption to my office and the other tenants. They decided that they wanted to place an extra sump pump and alarm after they started but didn't charge me extra for it. They did a great job and came back several times to check on it. Unfortunately, 6 months later (just recently), I had a separate and unrelated problem (it's a huge basement in a big building). I appreciated having Adam's and his estimator's personal cell phone numbers (great service), and they came right away -- on a weekend. Just as before, they said they could start the needed work within a day or two -- I love not having to wait. This time my only estimate was from Adam Basement (since I had been very satisfied) and again they did a terrific job. I like them because they explain everything beforehand and they seem genuinely interested in doing a good job. They are very competent and professional. My basement is awesome again!

I recently purchased a house with major basement issues. The cinderblock walls were full of water creating a lot of issues. When Adams came in to give me an estimate, they took their time to explain what the issue was and why it was happening. As a first time home buyer that was very important to me. They had samples of their products and pictures of their work so I knew what I was getting and what to expect. They installed a french drain, two sump pumps, sprayed for mold, removed old insulation, installed new insulation and installed plastic on the walls, all in about 2.5 days. Afterwards, I realized that they even went around the foundation of my house and filled in all the little cracks with some of the left over cement. Best part is, my basement has been completely dry since and there has been plenty of rain to test it. Thank you Adams!

I recently purchased a new home which, I found out, had some water issues. Steve was great in that he came over and gave me his professional opinion of our situation. He went over everything in a simple manner (which included pictures, diagrams, etc) so that I could easily understand what was happening and what Adam Basement was planning to do to fix it. They patched up any cracks, installed 2 new sump pumps, installed new insulation. The original estimated time given was 3-4 days. However, the entire project took just 2 days. Very convenient, fast and the crew was courteous in how they covered as much as they could to minimize dust and cleaned on their way out. Thanks Adams Basement! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

My French drain failed 2 yrs ago after 22 yrs at my house (I am the original owner) and had it repaired by a local company in DE. Sixteen months later, there was another failure, and same company said they needed to do repair farther down the line. That second repair lasted 7 months. Time to get a new opinion, especially after the first company did not respond in a timely fashion. Adam Basement was recommended to me by a friend. Steve and a trainee came a day after I called and took the time to explain in detail (with pictures and diagrams) what the problem was and how it was to be fixed. The crew came on schedule; all were extremely courteous and competent. They explained what they were doing and showed me what went wrong with the first repairs. I highly recommend Adam Basement to anyone with any kind of wet basement problems.

After seven years of having a dry basement, we finished and enjoyed it for several more years, until hurricane Sandy. After Sandy we noticed water in several areas of the basement and called several basement companies to asses the problem. One company (Adam basement), gave us the news we did not want to hear, which was, there was never a french drain installed and, we had to dig our finished basement to find out. We went with them because of their honesty and professionalism and sure enough they were right. There was never a french drain installed, only the appearance of one. Their workmanship was exceptional and they salvaged as much of the finished sections as possible. The basement was re-finished after the repairs and the french drain works as promised. The work crew was exceptional, literally carrying out a demo'd finished basement in five gallon buckets and not damaging anything else. Great crew, great job and a great price.
