Sean is reliable, communicates well with my child which helps my child progress in his lessons and my child looks forward to his piano lessons, which is very important.
Bill Coccagna is teaching my grandson, Joey, how to play the piano. Joey began the lessons prior to his 5th birthday. He likes going to his lessons. He enjoys playing the piano and keyboard. Mr. Bill's positive feedback is key to Joey's enthusiasm for learning.
What a fantastic teacher! So friendly and incredibly passionate about music. Michael was able to help me with 2 of my vocal issues during our very first lesson. I'm eager to return and may also take piano lessons from him in the future.
My experience working with Solveig was absolutely great! Solveig is very patient and a great instructor. She works with you to accomplish your goals and is always encouraging and supportive. She is very skilled and has a very strong musical background, making her very knowledgeable in our lessons. Solveig has a very relaxed demeanor which made lessons very pleasant and made learning and focusing on the piano much easier. I would absolutely recommend Solveig for instruction on the piano!
I just started voice lessons with Mary. Would highly recommend. She is able to access voice range and inflection very quickly, build on your strengths, and help you improve in areas that need more development. She will get you started right away, whatever your desired goals are.
Our daughter (6) started to learn to play the piano a few months ago. She loves her lessons and she is very comfortable with Jonathan. She is very happy when he comes to teach her. She improved a lot and her love for the piano increased. Jonathan is very patient and great with kids, also he is a very good teacher.
While we have only been attending for about two months, my son has loved his piano lessons. He is eager to go each week and practices daily!! Rosalind has been flexible with our changing summer schedule. My son has learned so much in such a short time.
Karen Schenck is an excellent piano teacher. She is patient and pleasent. She gears each lesson to the need of the individual. She teaches music theory, reading of music and facts about the composer of the music piece. She is able to teach on the level of the individual child. I highly recommend lessons at Rising Stars Piano Studio.
Geert teaches our 7 year old piano in our home and I cannot say enough good things! He is patient, prompt, and peppy. He is structured, but can be silly with her. He is just the right mix of challenge and fun, and her piano skills took off like a rocket! We could not be happier. He is really a gem.
My teenage son has been enjoying Danton's classical guitar teaching for the past two years. In this time, he has greatly matured in his playing skills and understanding of music theory. Danton challenges his students in creative and fun ways, making lessons a pleasure. He includes the student in selecting music, being sure to advance the student's skill level without overwhelm the student. He is professional, engaging, and friendly. Additionally, his ability to come to my home for lessons saves me time each week. Certainly, he is a very talented musician whom I eagerly recommend for all styles of piano or guitar instruction.
Siobhan is an awesome teacher, very patient and knowledgeable. If youre looking for a great piano instructor, look no further!
I went to Debra for voice lessons, she is an amazing teacher. She really helped me grasp concepts and helped me improve my vocal performance in a way I never imagined. She is a great teacher and I reccomend her for anyone looking to serisiosly improve their singing ability.
I have been a student of Paula Hess for approximately 8 years and she has been a superb teacher to me. I consistently refer her to other friends and family given her professionalism and excellence. She is a degreed professional and has been teaching for over 20 years. She has trained me from an intermediate to now an advanced level via difficult repertoire (Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy, and more). I originally went to Mrs. Hess as my first teacher primarily taught via method books. She was able to quickly accelerate my progress and teach me difficult classical music. Part of her success is due to her willingness to allow students to sometimes choose different pieces for themselves and guide their direction in learning. While some students may want to play show tunes, other students may want to focus on a more classical path. Mrs. Hess is able to make a "plan" individualized for all students. Mrs. Hess teaches all levels; however, I have enjoyed her advanced approach to teaching me music. I started with Mrs. Hess at an intermediate level. She is not a piano teacher who will simply take your money regardless of the student. She truly wants her clients to succeed, practice, and grow. If you are looking for a teacher who will keep you accountable, will truly teach piano, and will accelerate your instrumental skill, she is certainly the teacher you are looking for. She is very patient; however, she does encourage growth and consistent practicing. All teachers should expect this out of their students. In regards to her ability to teach special needs children, she has extensive years teaching children in this population. In fact, some of these students play at recitals. She prides herself on the ability to teach students of this population. As a physician assistant who is very cognizant of special needs children and there needs, I would have full confidence in going to Mrs. Hess. In conclusion, for those who have had other problems with teachers, without a doubt, I recommend Mrs. Hess.
I had a great experience and I’m looking forward to more lessons.
I met Jennifer from Musical Arts of South Delaware back when I was 13 years old; 15 long years ago. I had come to her with a desire to expand my musical knowledge as a young girl who had already tried her hand at the flute and violin. I had a curiosity and drive to explore a new instrument, one that I knew nothing about. This instrument just so happened to be the piano. The piano is an instrument that plays in both treble and bass clef, and until this point, I had never studied or read music in bass clef before. It is pretty safe to say that I had no idea the journey I was about to embark on for the next 9 years of my life. Within a month or two, Jennifer took me under her wing and did more for me than just learn how to play the piano. She mentored and sculpted me for 9 years, into a young woman who went on to later minor is music, both piano and vocals. In many ways, Jennifer encouraged me to follow my heart through the black and white keys underneath my fingertips. She inspired me from a very young age, that our friendship went beyond the keyboard. Jennifer was always patient and compassionate when it came to understanding my musical talent. It was almost as if she knew exactly how my heart wanted to explore certain piano pieces. She encouraged me to develop my skills in a way that has carried me through into my adult life. Jennifer is an incredible musicican and even more of an incredible teacher. It is her passion and talent that has helped her succeed in her music over the past 20 years or so. Piano is something I will take with me for the rest of my life becuase of her. She made learning music fun and something that should be done with the soul. I’m forever grateful for my experiences under Jennifer’s mentorship, and would recommend her to any person in search of musical meaning and purpose.
Nancy does a fine job teaching piano. She keeps the vibe upbeat, but gets the job done.
Zach was my 8 year old daughter's first piano teacher. He made lessons educational and fun, which made her happy to keep coming back and excited to learn piano. I was also grateful for his approach of creating a musical community with all of his students, by organizing "piano play dates" and recitals. Furthermore, Zach had a perfect balance of maintaining the culture and sophistication of the practice, while making it fun and interesting.
Diane is an experienced, patient, and knowledgeable music teacher. She identifies the style of learning that works best for her students and customizes lessons based on individual learning style. My son enjoys going to his lesson each week and his piano skills have consistently advanced throughout the years he has been taking lessons with Diane.

I use to teach music notes to children from ages 5-8 years old. I also use to demonstrate the notes for them on the piano at a music school. I'm also a songwriter, so I can also assist children with generating lyrics and notes to create their own songs according to the notes that their learning. I also love to sing; therefore, I'm able to assist children with singing and tuning their vocals according to the octaves that are played on the piano.
