Introduction: I am a music teacher. If you are here to learn, I am here to teach. My website is at present mostly a way to contact me for tutoring music theory along with the beginning of free materials related to music theory, but I am preparing to open up a section on percussion with emphasis on drum set and melodic percussion. My experience as a percussionist includes 8 years of experience as a "top call" with the New Orleans Philharmonic, the big name acts at the Blue Room during the '70s and '80s, and every jazz venue featuring New Orleans music that used a drum set as well as many other genres. I have been performing since 1970, and I am still currently performing around the New Orleans area. My teaching experience began around the same time and includes teaching in school setting K-12 and college settings throughout the greater New Orleans area as well as several schools around the world.
