Professor Iveth Pavon helped me prepare to take the CLEP exam and test out of Spanish class at my University. I had some prior knowledge in Spanish but she was a huge help and clarified things such as the forms of past tense, future tense and present tense. She also helped me increase my vocabulary amongst other things. Excellent professor for high and low level Spanish lessons, I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn the language or increase what they already know. I know I certainly did. Also I passed the CLEP :) I don't think I would have without her lessons.

I Highly Recommend Maria Moreno to anyone who wants to learn spanish or build on what they already know. Maria goes above and beyond to help you speak, comprehend and retain the lessons. She is always very prompt with class times and flexible with any changes that I have had in times or days. I would not change any thing about the way her classes are taught. I appreciate everything she has helped me with so far.

I was looking for someone close by that would be willing to teach Spanish lessons in a face-to-face setting. Jeannette provides me with Spanish lessons 3 times a week at my house. She is punctual and organized. Jeannette will assign homework if you want and is helpful at clarifying any questions you may have. I have recommended Jeanette to several people I know personally and would recommend her to anyone here on this site. I know she also does lessons online if you're so inclined.

She is an excellent teacher who works according to our needs, our learning style, and pace; it is the reason that we looked for private tutor in the first place. She is very knowledgeable to the subject and provides various methods to enhance learning another language -which can be difficult for some people. We (my 2 girls) love learning Spanish and looking forward the next section. Strong recommendation!

I have recently moved to the area due to a job transfer, and chose to take Spanish lessons to deal with customers in Central and South America. As a middle aged person I felt the most effective method would be one-on-one instruction. the other great thing about personal instruction is that if I have a business trip, and need to miss a class, I am not behind all the other students. I have been extremely satisfied with Alicia's instruction methods. She is very supportive and knows how to set the line between challenging and overwhelming. Although the textbook is a base, she uses a variety of other tools that keeps things much more engaging than typical classroom lessons. Highly recommend!

Take advantage of the new technologies and study Spanish via Web 2.0 with an experienced Spanish language teacher. Classes concentrate on authentic spoken and written Spanish using relevant texts and videos, in order to develop communication skills at an accelerated rate, and improve your competence in using Spanish in everyday social situations. You can start at your current level, set your own pace, and successfully develop all language skills. The timetable is flexible, and if you are an absolute beginner, or speak little Spanish, it would probably be useful for you to begin with 2 hours of lessons per day for two weeks, to get you started. After that, you can cut back to two or three lessons a week, to keep you on track. The first meeting is a trial lesson, and you have no obligation to book a further lesson. To book your first lesson, or should you have any queries, please contact me by e-mail.
