Residential Home Inspection All home inspections are not the same. A First Choice Residential Home Inspection is a detailed and thorough evaluation of a home. We inspect the electrical, plumbing, roof, HVAC, structural, insulation and all other systems of the home. A First Choice inspection of a 2,000 Sq Ft home will typically take 3 to 3 1/2 hours for the inspection and an additional 3 to 5 hours to compose the report, research appliances and system components, and mark photos. What you can expect from a FCHI inspection and report is a thorough and detailed analysis of the home opposed to the fast 45 min to an hour home inspection you get from a budget inspection company. 0-999 Sq Ft $250.00 1000 to 1499 Sq Ft $300.00 1500 to 1999 Sq Ft $350.00 2000 to 2499 Sq Ft $ 400.00 Each add'l 500 Sq Ft is $ 50.00 The age of the home and crawlspace inspections may increase the cost.
