FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the type, size and the age of the property. However, more into details about pricing, we consider other factors, like history, condition, location, accessibility and requests to additional ancillary services of the home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we have a scheduled appointment and a signed agreement, whether you are a first time home buyer or not, meaning if this is your first inspection experience or you've been attended at any other before, I can assure you that you are in good hands. The idea is to spend a known amount of money today to keep you from spending a huge unknown amount later. And we can save you a ton of money if you were to hire a roofer, a plumber, an electrician or a structural engineer for the cost of even more with the conflict of interest. I'm here to tell you which one of those guys you may actually need. I always tell folks to be prepared for information overload. The report can sometimes be lengthy. I always offer a completely FREE consultation following the inspection or after the report is delivered.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Requirements are 14 hours in every 2 years for both, home inspector and certified general contractor licenses. However, we are attending few additional workshops every year throughout the country to keep improving the quality of our services.
