Thomas is an amazing musician. I have not taken lessons from him but I can speak about his talent and love for music. He started taking piano lessons at the age of six and started guitar lessons soon after. He grew up in a family where music lessons were an expectation and for Thomas it was a joy. He continued to study music throughout his years in school. He is the finest musician that I know. His enthusiasm for playing guitar and piano is contagious. He makes people want to learn. Thomas is very patient and will work with his students at their pace. His students can expect a professional and fun experience. As his students progress and want to upgrade their instruments, he can advise them as to what brands they should purchase. I can honestly say that Thomas will assure that every student will meet and exceed their goals.

I truly enjoyed my experience working with Johnny. He has a fantastic music studio in his home, which is wonderful to learn in. Johnny is extremely talented on the guitar, and he shows a passion for helping others reach that level as well. The overall experience was outstanding. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for guitar lessons to give Johnny a try.

Margaret Germain is a professional musician and music teacher who lives and teaches piano, harp, guitar, voice, and drums in her home studio in North Port, Fl. She is the director of music, organist, pianist, and harpist at St. Michael's church in Sarasota. Margaret has taught piano lessons for over 30 years and also taught music in the Sarasota school public schools for 9 years. She has a bachelor of music education degree from Northwestern University and has done additional studies on how children learn through the University of South Florida. Margaret teaches all levels, from beginner through college preparatory studies. Children can start lessons as early as 5 years old with Margaret's special young beginners program. One student may choose to study 2 instruments within one lesson, or a family of 3 students may share a one-hour lesson, making music lessons for the family affordable and convenient. Margaret teaches in her home studio (which has a piano, organ, keyboards, 3 harps, guitars, and a drum set), which is near La Marque Elementary School in North Port.

Our students enthusiastically participate in music contests, many of which they win.. Our students consistently pass the rigorous auditions required to be accepted into our arts magnet high school. Our seniors regularly graduate form high school with high honors, which shows the connection between music study and high academic achievement.

I offer basic- and intermediate-level guitar lessons. Alternative rock and indie are the main styles I teach.

I am a trained guitar player with over 10 years of experience and have taught many young players the skills they need to achieve success in their musical passion. I will travel to you, or you can travel to me. I am very easy to work with and have a flexible schedule.

I have over 20 years experience teaching music. I offer classes for young children and individual lessons for students of all ages. Individuals have studied with me in the areas of piano, voice, music theory, ukulele, and guitar. My teaching is unique because of my ability to meet the student where they are, get to know their learning style and specific strengths and needs. This helps achieve great results for each student by letting them take part in directing their learning. We can focus on classical or pop music, theory and technique, or whatever it is that the student wants to accomplish musically. Lessons with me are always thorough in content, and of high quality. My product stands out for its value.

A piano teacher of 39 years' experience is now accepting new student enrollment. The lessons would be in my home in Port Charlotte. I have extensive experience in many different avenues of piano performance, which include public performances, school choir accompaniment as well as soloist accompaniment, church music direction, and church band playing. I studied with a University of Missouri alumni teacher for 12 years and started my teaching under her guidance. My greatest love of teaching is with the K to 12th graders. We all know that proficiency in anything in life takes hard work, but I find that making learning interesting and fun brings about the greatest results! If a student is presently studying in a certain method, I will continue at that point and very gradually switch over to my preferred method. I approach teaching in three very important areas: scales/chords, theory, and playing. Lessons will start at 30 minutes each for younger children and may require up to 45-minute to 1-hour sessions with older students who are more advanced in their playing technique. Rates start at $25.00 per 30-minute session. If you are interested in your child taking piano lessons, please contact me for further details. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have!

We have 30 years of experience. We offer college and private lessons. We do all styles of guitar like rock, jazz, classical and flamenco.
