The Shimmies are great fun to watch! I've seen them perform at numerous venues and they always delight with their evocative routines and creative costumery. I was once at a house party when they showcased their fire dancing in the backyard at night; the audience was completely enthralled and all you could hear were the beat of the drums and the whoosh of twirling flames - superb, unique entertainment!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

For someone looking for a belly dance teacher, I would definitely advise checking out their website, facebook, youtube channel, and so on to learn more about their dance style to find out if it inspires you. A teacher's online resources may also tell you more about their teaching style, and that may help you determine if you think they will be a good fit for you. When looking to hire a performer, those same online resources may be helpful in helping you see if you think the performer's general style seems like a good fit for you and your event. I would also recommend contacting the performer to discuss your specific event as they may have additional suggestions or specialties that could help take your event to the next level.
